She went into a separate car and started working on putting a tracker on the phone. These boys reliably had their phones with them, unless they were taken away as form of punishment when they did something too reckless.

Eliza had to keep track of their whereabouts at all times, in the event that something happened that would require some rescue work.

It would be more difficult to get the other three’s phones. They were attached to it like glue. She would have to take it during a show, probably, but then she couldn’t be obvious about it, not even to the security team. Even they didn’t clearly understand why she would be in charge if she wanted it. To them, she was an inexperienced minion of the management to keep them in line, but didn’t know anything about security and safety. So far, she hadn’t changed any of the new security system for the boys. There had been no need yet. Most likely, the new order had been implemented already without her needing to revise the old one.

Then again, security would be guarding their phones as well, so that would be a bit tricky. She would do it maybe while they were asleep or had something to drink.

Her fingers were quick and she had a travel utensil kit that came in the form of a Swiss knife, only it had more features on it than a Swiss knife could. She was careful to insert the tracker carefully. She couldn’t replace a phone and contacts as easily as she could replace data or memory on a computer.

Well, she could, but she didn’t know just who and how many the contacts were on their phones. She was strained for time and she couldn’t do that right now. Niall and Liam would probably notice it in a bit.

Besides, she was only one person. She couldn’t do everything on her own. She couldn’t help but think that Simon thought that she was Tomb Raider or Wonder Woman or something. Maybe even Uma Therman in Kill Bill. She might have to remind him that it was more intelligence work and hacking that she was good at, and the physical abilities just came as a bonus. She wasn’t an assassin for crying out loud. She was good at the security aspect because she thought smartly. If it wasn’t a smarter option, she did the obvious ones, because sometimes, people tended to overlook the obvious, thinking that there had to be something more complicated.

Like earlier, standing where the boys had stood, just to see the possible points.

She had just finished in time right when the car pulled up to the studio. There were screaming girls in front, and she couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

There had to be somewhere in. She definitely was not going through that mass of hyperventilating people. She couldn’t elbow or hit anyone in public, especially not if they were defenseless.

She scanned through the building quickly with her eyes.

“Aren’t you going through?” Scott asked, as he went beside her to escort her into the building.

“That’s okay. Go ahead and take care of the boys. I’ll follow in a minute,” she said coolly. “They’ll need your help more than I do.”

“Are you sure?”

She looked at him directly in the eyes. “I can handle myself. If all else fails, I can just wait out here.”

He nodded and went forward to the boys. They were reaching out to touch the hands of the fans, but security insisted on pushing on forward, because Zayn’s upper body was nearly dragged into that crowd.

There were more ways to get in. The roof was always a favorite of Eliza’s.

She went over to the adjacent building and jumped up to reach the ladder of the fire escape. It lurched down noisily as her weight pulled it down.
