Mark and I were getting ready for third period when a girl came up to us.

"Hey, Mark!" She said.

"Hey! Paige, right?" Mark asked.

"Yup! So, I was wondering if you could help me study for the test coming up?" She asked and Mark looked at me.

"I'm cool with it." I said with a smile.

"Yeah! Sure! Does after school work?" Mark asked.

"Yeah! Perfect. I'll be in the library." She said and walked away.

"I'll be there!" He said.

"Alright! Let's get to class." I said.

"Alright but I have an idea." Mark said.

"Oh no. What?" I asked.

"Let's skip third period and go do something fun." He said.

"Like?" I asked.

"Well, I kinda wanna go swim in the lake that's right down the street." Mark said with a smile.

"Screw it! Let's do it!" I said.

Mark and I hid in the bathrooms until we knew we were safe to leave school. We snuck out and went down the street.

"I can't believe we did that!" I said.

"Neither can I! Okay, so! Class started twenty minutes ago. Which means, we have forty minutes to swim and have fun. And then, ten to get back to the school on time before fourth period which is lunch. Thank god." Mark said.

"Got it!" I said.

Mark and I went to the lake and decided to swim in our underwear. Of course, Mark got in immediately but I didn't.

"This is freezing! There's no way I'm getting in!" I said.

"Oh come on! It's not that bad, cutie." He said.

"You calling me cutie isn't gonna make me get in any faster." I said.

"Fine! Well, I wanna get out and jump in so will you help me?" Mark asked.

"Nice fucking try! If I grab your hand, you're gonna pull me in!" I said.

"No I'm not! I'm serious!" He said.

"I don't trust you!" I said.

"Really!?" He asked.

"Yes!" I said.

"If you help me out, I'll buy you ice cream later." He said.

"Oh, we're doing bribing now?" I asked.

"Babe, I'm serious!" He said.

"Fine!" I said and rolled my eyes and took his hand and he pulled me in. "I KNEW IT!" I screamed and he was laughing.

"I'm sorry! But you refused to get in." He said.

"You still better be buying me ice cream." I said.

"I'll get something else." He said.

"Like?" I asked.

"A kiss!" He said.

"Not buying me ice cream equals no kisses or cuddles for a week." I said.

"You can't even go an hour without a kiss or without cuddles." He said.

"This is the only time you're right." I said.

"I doubt that but okay." He said and I rolled my eyes and he smiled.
