(A month later)

Trey's P.O.V

Today was the day of Siobhan's funeral. We decided to combine Siobhan's and Craig's funeral just to save money.

It was such a sad and gloomy day. Tamika was crying while Akira stared blankly at the two coffins.

I was worried about Akira. After the deaths, she barely ate anything. Akira's health was getting worse and worse.

I shook my head in disappointment and tuned into the service that was about to begin.

"We are gathered here today to recognize the passing of our brother and sister, Siobhan Lewis and Craig Crippen Jr. We shouldn't take this service as an hour of weeping and sadness but as a day of celebration of the lives of the two." The pastor said. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. As you comprehend this profound loss, if you allow yourself to cry remember that each tear is a note of love rising to the heavens. We will now have Tamika, one of Siobhan's close friends, have a word."

I saw Tamika stand up and make her way to the alter. Before she reached there, she glanced at the coffin.

Unexpectedly, Tamika broke down to the ground, crying. She whaled and threw her hands all over the place. Tamika just couldn't hold in her emotions.

"I want Siobhan! I..." Tamika sobbed and sobbed. Ray stood up and tried to pull a crying Tamika away. I could tell he was embarrassed but just didn't show it.

Fortunately, Ray was able to pull Tamika to the back of the church and have a little talk with her.

When Tamika was sane, she regained her composure and came to the stage. Her voice was a bit shaky when she spoke, "Siobhan was my closest friend. She was such a great friend. I loved her very much. Her death made me realize what a terrible friend I was. Before she died, Siobhan and I got into a fight. I punched her and made a nasty remark. I wish I could just take back what I said to her. B-But I can't! I can't! Siobhan is dead! I can't! I miss you so much, Siobhan! Please, come back!"

Once again, Tamika broke down crying. She got the strength to go back to her seat and cry silently to herself. Akira then made her way onstage.

"Hello, my name is Akira. I will be reading a poem that I wrote," Akira brought out a tiny piece of paper and began reading from it.

"Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow,

May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow,

If the future seems overwhelming,

Remember that it comes one moment at a time,

One little mistake may affect you for a lifetime,

One death can affect a major part of your heart,

Which can never be replaced,

One day a person can be with you,

But then can be taken away from you in a blink of an eye,

It is a tough time now without you here,

But know you'll be in my heart,

I know you guys are in a better place,

Now nothing can break you two apart,"

Akira put the paper back into her pocket. I saw a tear fall from her eyes. "Rest in peace, Siobhan and Craig. I love you."

With that, Akira walked back to her seat and sat down quietly. The pastor finally came back on stage, "Thank you very much, Akira and Tamika.. Now, I will ask for everybody to stand and bow their heads in prayer."

The congregation stood up and bowed their heads, "Dear heavenly father, we thank you for the lives of our brother and sister. We know that they are in your hands now and you are watching over them and covering them with everlasting love. Lord, we ask you if you can please be with the family members of those who we have lost. Help them in their time of need and provide for them in a hundred folds. All this we ask from you in Jesus name."

"Amen," I muttered to myself. I made my way outside and to the burial site. The church happened to have a cementary so we were burying the two there. A group of men dressed in black carried the two coffins outside placed them on the ground.

The pastor quietly sprinkled holy water on the coffins. He said a silent prayer before the men dropped the coffins into the ground.

Sadly, there was nothing we could do about what was happening. It was time to face reality. A man came to the front of the crowd and let go of two white doves, representing freedom and peace.

Finally, the service was over. I walked over to Akira and patted her on the back. I could tell that she was hurting inside. In an attempt to calm her down, I spoke sweet words into her ear, "Akira, it's alright. Siobhan is in a better place now. So is Craig."

"I know that, Trey. I just can't face that she's dead. She will never come back," She said, "I hate Prince for doing this. He's the cause of everything that happened! I regret ever speaking to him."

I heard the venom in her voice but I ignored it. I didn't plan on telling Akira my story. I wouldn't tell her a word. Whatever happened, happened.

"I understand, Akira. Things will get better, Akira. Siobhan is at peace now." I stated. I gave Akira a hug and a kiss. Ray and Tamika sauntered up to the two of us.

"Hey, man." Ray said, shaking my hand. I saw Tamika and Akira hug each other.

"How is your wife?" I inquired. Ray stared at Tamika then back at me.

"She's hanging in there... She's not at her best but she's getting there," Ray answered truthfully. I nodded my head understandingly.

"I know, it's tough." I replied. I sighed then sadly looked up at the sky. Nobody knows what the near future will hold.
