Chapter 15: Unity Day!

A/N: I wanna apologize in advance for how choppy this chapter is, there's a lot of time skips in this episode because most of it is about whats going on, on the ark and then when you come down there's like time skip. Like in the first scene on the ground its morning and then next its night so its just very choppy 

Sawyer groaned in pain as she exited the drop ship. Clarke had just re bandaged her stomach. She woke up her body aching in pain everywhere. She had been pushing all her pain aside and it was now coming back to bite her in the ass

Her head was aching and her stomach was throbbing. Sawyer looked to see some kids standing in a circle around the small screen

"My friends, this is historic Unity Day. Every year, we mark the moment our ancestors of the 12 stations joined to form the ark, but this is the last time we do so while aboard her. Next year, on the ground" Sawyer listened to Jaha speak. She didn't want to go over seeing Raven was standing there

Sawyer looked down smiling, Atlas loved Unity Day, it was his favorite day because the guards were so relaxed that the teens pretty much got to mess things up and didn't get punished for it. The thought of seeing him again gave Sawyer so much warmth 

Her attention was brought back by everyone's talking "Right, after we did all the work. Someone shut him up" Miller said annoyed

Peta walked up to Sawyer smiling "Hey, how are you feeling?" Sawyer smiled down at the girl "i'm still in pain but i'll be fine, I have no choice" she responded shrugging to the girl

Jasper came running out of a tent yelling with a large jug in his hand

"Whoo! Yeah! Monty strikes again! Hey! Call this back Unity juice! Who's thirsty? Monty! There you go" 

Sawyer smiled shaking her head at the boy as he poured the liquid into everyone's cups

Sawyer headed to the tent getting ready for her meeting with Jaha. The screen went out and there was radio silence. Sawyer stared confused as she messed around with the radio trying to find all possible solutions

Sawyer rolled her eyes as she watched everyone party. She walked up to Bellamy who stood watching everyone while he snacked on an apple that was freshly picked this morning

"Hey, the comms are dead. They cut out during the pageant" Sawyer sighed putting her hands in her pockets

"Best Unity Day ever" Bellamy remarked smiling at the small girl. Sawyer giggled at his deep voice and the smile on his face

"Do you really think now is a good time to be having a party? I mean the grounder is out there-" Sawyer asked before getting cut off by Bellamy

"Grounders. By now he's made it home. He's probably putting together a lynch mob" this made Sawyer's breath hitch but Bellamy calmed her

"Relax, I got security covered" Sawyer nodded at him but Bellamy could still see the stress in her eyes "Why don't you go get a drink? You look like you could use one" he proposed smiling at her

"I could use more than one, pretty boy" Sawyer teased using the old nickname

"Then have more than one" Bellamy smirked laughing. "Sawyer, the exodus ship carrying your brother will be here in less than 2 days, after that the party's over. Have some fun while you still can, you deserve it"

Sawyer smiled at his consideration before agreeing "Yeah, ok" she turned smiling walking away but turned back

"So do you, by the way" she said smiling at him
