The school towered over Iida as he walked slowly to his class. Homeroom was ending soon so he should have had a sense of urgency, but he didn't want to be here. His heart raced, his palms drenched in sweat.

"Where have you been" Aizawa asked

"I-I was, I had a stomach ache" Iida stammered

"Alright, just sit down and don't be any more disruptive than you already have been"

He placed his bag down and refused to make eye contact with anyone.

Deku leaned over and said "Are you okay?"

Iida froze, I'm not gay "uhhh"

"Iida? What's wrong?" Deku pleaded

"I'm fine, Deku."

"You don't seem fine"

"Leave it alone, Deku" Bakugou barked

Iida silently thanked Bakugou. He rested his head on the desk fighting back the urge to just walk out of the class. Aizawa would wonder what was wrong, and there was no way he would ever tell Aizawa what was wrong. After all he wasn't gay, he didn't like Deku. Deku was just a friend, never anything more. No pro heroes were gay, thats just not a thing!

"Iida" Aizawa said irritated "Iida Tenya"

"Here! Yes sir. Sorry sir" Iida stumbled

"See me after class, Iida. We need to speak"

Iida's mind raced. Why did Aizawa need to speak to him? Why can't he be normal? What's wrong with him? He took out a piece of paper and began drawing rapid random lines in frustration, he drew one eye, then another, suddenly he had finished. It wasn't good but it was something. It looked like someone. Who? He'd rather not think about that.

"Class Dismissed" Aizawa said as the bell rang.

Iida's heart sank, Aizawa needed to talk to him. Did he know something was wrong? How was he supposed to tell Aizawa anything without outing himself. He didn't even know if Aizawa was homophobic, if we was then Iida was in big trouble.

"Iida, what's wrong? You haven't been yourself recently." Aizawa examined Iida, noting his fidgety hands and preoccupied eyes.

"Nothing sir, I'm fine. You really shouldn't worry Mr. Aizawa it's no big deal" Iida lied

"Son, you can tell me anything. Hizashi and i can talk to you after school if you'd rather hang out with your friends now"

Iida's brain was going a million miles an hour. Hizashi, as in Hizashi Yamada? Isn't that Present Mic's name? Are they a thing? Does that mean Aizawa is gay? Should I tell him? Would he help me or make things worse? Why was he worried? Is it that obvious? What-

"Tenya" Aizawa whispered as he pulled him into a hug "You don't have to tell me anything but know that i'm here for you no matter what"

Iida relaxed in Aizawa's arms, hugging him back. Aizawa reminded him that he still didn't know what was wrong. Iida told him, Aizawa only hugged him tighter. As Aizawa let go he asked if he wanted to come to Aizawa's house after school to get his mind off of things. Iida accepted and texted Uraraka

Iida: I'm not going to be at the dorms tonight

Uraraka: Why?

Iida: Something came up

Uraraka: Fine

Iida put his phone in his pocket, he headed to lunch although it was halfway done. When he arrived Deku waved him down and excitedly patted at the seat next to him. Iida panicked as he got closer to the table. Deku shot him a confused look. Iida sat down next to Deku and his heart raced.

"Deku I like you" He blurted out. I hid his face in his hands hiding the red blush painting his face.

"Uh, I-I like you too, Iida" Deku mumbled

"Don't lie to me Deku it's very disrespectful.

I'm not, I've liked you for a while now" Deku covered his face

Iida just walked away, not eating anything. Why did Deku lie to him? He decided to wait in his next class for lunch to be over. His next class was English with Mr. Yamada AKA Present Mic. He walked into the class with his binder and froze when he saw Aizawa and Yamada eating together in the classroom.

"Hi Iida" Yamada beamed

"Hello Iida, why are you here so early?" Aizawa asked

"I didn't want to go to lunch" Iida said dryly

"Is it about them?" Aizawa pressed

"Who? I want to know!" Yamada whined

"Not yet honey" Aizawa replied

"Yeah, it's him. Can I stay here until class starts please?" Iida asked glumly

"Sure, would you rather be alone?" Yamada asked sweetly

"No, you guys can stay, I'll just be reading my book"

Iida grabbed his book and began to read it, he could hear Aizawa tell Yamada he looked beautiful. Iida's mind began to fill with ideas of him and Deku together. Sitting next to Deku at lunch, telling him about his day. Holding Deku's hand. I'm not gay-

"What?" Aizawa asked, both he and Yamada had stopped and looked at him

"Um, nothing. I was just mumbling to myself" Iida caught himself

"There's nothing wrong with being gay." Yamada added

Iida panicked, but before he could say anything back the bell rang and his classmates filed in one by one.
