The day I got my acceptance letter, we went and got a cat.
I wanted a dog, but Zawa wanted a cat.
We compromised. We will get a cat now, but when I graduate UA, I can get a dog.
Zawa and I looked at local cat shelters, but most of them were feral or old. We prefer to keep sleeping soundly (minus the screaming) So we need a calm cat. After a day or two, Zawa gave up, and started sleeping for hours and hours. I decided to go visit Mina.
As I was walking to her house, I saw a mysterious cardboard box shuffling around in a deserted alleyway. Cautiously, I get closer, until I lift up the box and see a tiny kitten. It's dark fur was matted, fleas littering it's stomach, and blood?
Maybe I should leave it, I thought, its going to die anyway. That's when it did a little 'meow'.
That's when I scooped it up and ran home.
That's when I adopted the little black bundle of fluff.
That's when little Echo joined Zawa and I.
