It tugged at DiDi's heart to see her crying from joy.

He knows the journey she went through, was instrumental even to the bumpier parts of it, in her acceptance of the wedding between Zhi Ting and Xin. And to see her just so happy now and positively beaming, he is thankful that the stars aligned for the two of them.

He doesn't know what he might do if he has to watch her break down, while watching the man she has loved for so long getting married.

Wang He Di would rather take that burden away from her.

Shen Yue is such a precious person and he needs to protect her.

"Thank you to our witty best man", the host at the reception cut in his thoughts, "And now, we ask our Maid of Honor for her own toast to the bride and groom."

Yue stood up from her seat and took the mic.

"I hope that you never forget how I was instrumental in your meeting for the rest of both your lives", she began, making everyone in the tent laugh, "Seriously, though, I hope you won't forget it because I won't. I am excited about telling other people how such a great couple met because of me. I will tell your children, your grandchildren, your great grandchildren, and anyone willing to listen. I love you both so much and I cannot think of any other two people who are as well-matched as you two. You guys have everything... everything except a song for your love story."

She signaled to the band.

"I know that the two of you have never had a "theme song" because you both always say it's way too cheesy. But... as a gift, I ask the two of you to stand and dance to this song that I dedicate to the both of you."

The first chords for the song began and Yue raised her glass to them and said "Cheers!"

DiDi laughed as Zhi Ting, initially, wanted to also have Yue dancing along with them but she tiptoed around the two of them and smiled triumphantly as the singer belted out...

You lift my heart up
When the rest of me is down
You, you enchant me, even when you're not around
If there are boundaries, I will try to knock them down
I'm latching on babe
Now I know what I have found

The host then encouraged all the guests to join the Bride and Groom on the dance floor in the middle of the song and as DiDi watched people troop towards the center of the tent, he headed straight for the radiant Maid-of-Honor.

"Mr. Wang", she greeted him.

He has not had the chance to really look at her closely because she has been at the forefront of the proceedings since the moment she left their suite.

He liked how they kept her hair down and how natural her make-up is. She looked like a nymph.

"Ms. Shen", he answered, stretching his hand out to her, and signaling towards the other dancing couples.

She nodded, took his hand, and allowed him to lead her.

"I might step on you. I don't dance very well in heels."

"That's ok. I will step on your feet too every time you step on mine."

Her eyes turned into slits, but she just shook her head in defeat, eventually. "No wild movements, then. I was looking forward to dancing like the Jabawockeez."

He laughed. "Well... since you say you can't properly dance in heels and I don't want to injure my feet", he took her by the waist and rested his forehead against hers, "We'll just dance really close like this."
