"Fine but, that's not the book I want."

I grabbed the book off his hand and grabbed a Bleach 45 [idk] and handed it to him and I grabbed my books that I dropped when, I seen him and walked to the front counter to see my old boss. His face brighten when, he seen me and he said with a bright smile

"Hey, Gwen. How are you now and days?"

I smiled at him and said while, handing him my book that's for Arnold

"Nothing much. Just hand my soccer game today, we won."

He chuckled and said with a smirk

"Did the underdog did the work to win the game?"

I smiled and said with a small blush

"If you have to say that. But, enough about me...How are you now and days?"

He gave me a small frown and said

"Not so good. You know the business is going down and Sonya isn't any better she's still sick."

I frown while, he was ringing up my book and I said

"Do you want me to visit her while, I'm still out and stuff?"

He gave me a small smile and said

"It's fine and the total is $8.97."

I grabbed my money and handed it to him and said

"But, I want to visit her. She'll be happy I promise."

He shook his head and said while, handed me $1.03 back

"It's fined."

I sighed and said while leaning next over to the counter so, Arnold can get rang up

"Do you still have the sell for buy 3 and get the 4th one free."

He nodded his head and said

"Yeah, but it's ending soon."

I nodded my head and said with a smile

"So, what if I need to start a new collection of books The ones I have it getting old and boring for me to read over and over again. Can I buy some then?"

He looked a bit suprised and said

"You don't have to, Gwen."

I smirked and said while walking back to the graphic novel section

"Oh to late."

I started grabbing the one collection I have been eyeing for a while, Death-note [idk] 1-13 and the short novels of them and I walked back in line with it and I put them on the counter while, Arnold looked at me surprised. I said while, piling them up and said

"Oh, I'm not done yet."

I walked back to the section and picked up some random ones that looks real interesting which was about 15 I can a least carry. I walked back to the counter and piled it up again and I said with a smile

"Ring me up, sir."

He was still surprised and started ringing me up and said

"Gwen, you really don't have to do this."

I said with a smile

"But, I need new ones and it should help in some way. And can I see Sonya tomorrow at noon if I can? I'm sure she'll like some of these books."

He nodded his head and said while, saying my grand total which is around 200 dollars. Boy were they shocked and I pulled out the money and handed it to him and said

"Thank you, I'll came back tomorrow to check with you first before, visiting is that okay."

He nodded his head and said while handing me a long recite

"Thank you so much for helping Gwen."

I nodded my head and grabbed the bags but was stopped by Arnold. He shyly said

"I got it, Gwen."

I smiled at him and said while begin to walk away

"Thank you, Arnold"

I dropped A least 100 dollars and said loudly for my boss

"Oh, my Gawd where is my 100 dollars at. I must have dropped them in Pac Sun. I better check."

I walked out of the store completey with Arnold by my side. I just smiled thinking I just help someone in need who really needed it. Arnold said with a curious hint in his voice

"Who was that guy?"

I said while, trying to reach for my phone

"He was my ex-boss. I been working for him like3 years and his wife, Sonya is sick from some type of illness and he haven't been the same any more. So, I try to help the people who really need it than others. Even, if I'm low myself. I still try to help if it's reallllly Needed."

He stared at me with this look on his face and he was about to say something...just digging in my pocket for my cell phone that needed to be answered. I finally got a grip of it and hurried up and answered it...It was none other than Kevin.

He said with a whine in his voice

"Come on Gwen. Amy is already here with Brad. I want to leave."

I sighed and said

"I'm coming just wait for 5 minutes okay."

He said loudly in his wine voice

"Hurrry, Gwen."

I just hang up not wanting to hear more of his wining. I grabbed Arnold sleeve and started leading him to the exit of the mall. I lead the way to the car, just to see Kevin leaning against a pillar and he glared at Arnold and said

"Who is he?"

I sighed and said while getting the keys

"His my friend who is helping me carry things to the car, Kevin."

Kevin avoid me and said to Arnold with a growl

"What are you and coming around Gwen?"

Arnold handed me the bags and said to Kevin avoiding his angry

"I was just helping her because, she looks like she was having trouble with those bag here. And my name is Arnold Blacksmith."

I could have dropped my bags. Because, I really know who he is and I to shocked to focus. I stuffed everything in the trunk and slammed it shut and I said to Arnold

"Do you need a ride somewhere?"

He shook his head and said with a small smile

"No, I have a car and thank you Gwen."

He quickly peck my cheek and walked away before, Kevin can get at him or even curse him out. I stand still with a small blush coming to my cheeks and Kevin said with a pissed of look to his face

"Get in the damn car, Gwen."

I really don't want to say anything because, one word and he goes off. I sighed think Why do I act so easily around him then, Jeremy or Dexter.
