Seated at my beloved piano I play my song
To all who would hear
The light my canopy

The play is not for praise
Alone but the myriad humanity that holds both lightness and darkness
For the soul
That I can interact with you
Silently over board with your smiles, rapture, tears, and frowns
To my medley

Seated I play for the world, the medley of my life carrying on
The numbers who hear me multiply
But the audience never changes
In the same white canopy you sit
Listening to the medley and replying
Answering my call; my life.

And so, I live.
