Chapter11: Sacrifices must be made

"Captain Alice and Commander Rei form up on me and attack as they reach in range," I ordered. "Yes, Commander," said Alice. "Have your guns ready to fire soldiers!" shouted Commander Rei. "We were prepared to battle Nemesis once again, but I truly believe this invasion was just a diversion... because I truly feel that this was intended," I muttered. "Fire!" shouted Commander Rei. "Commander John! Nemesis fleet is sending out gunships and carrier to deploy their troops!" shouted Captain Alice. "Send out our tanks and get me Father Hatena on a private line!" I shouted while thinking, "Its five aircraft carriers versus over ten aircraft carriers and one mother ship. This battle would be hard to pull off." "But, we must repel them before they reach the center," I muttered as I waited for Father Hatena to answer the private line. "Yes, Commander John, I'm quite busy at the moment talking with the other Fathers'... What is the issue?" asked Father Hatena. "Sir, I advise you and the other Fathers to evacuate FN-HQ immediately," I pleaded. "Why? What is the situation?" asked Father Hatena with concern. "Nemesis has a fleet which just came out of a rift tunnel. I'm assuming this is an invasion so, we are trying to suppress them now. That's why, I am telling you, to evacuate the other Fathers' immediately," I said after thinking about casualties. "I expected you to hold them off until we can get help from Hyun's Dojo or the other clans at this point in time," He stated. "I will try my best to do so, sir," I replied know it will be difficult. "Do what you can Commander John, I and the other fathers will be leaving shortly. I'll send you a message so you can know when to retreat or plan your next move," He said. "Thank you, Sir," I said before hanging up the phone or com-link. "Commander John! What will be our next approach?" asked Captain Alice. "We attack with brutal force, Captain Alice. Get your suit ready we are going to fight them hands on. We must buy the Fathers time," I commanded as I clinch my fist. "Yes, Sir," She replied. "John, two of their ships are down and most of their troops are bots!" shouted Commander Rei as her ship is being invaded by them. "Captain Alice help Commander Rei ASAP." "Yes, Commander!" she shouted as she runs to her ship. /Inside of Commander Rei's Aircraft carrier/ "Commander, you need to escape in the escape pods!" shouted a Solider. "Listen to me Solider! I am not letting them take this ship or even take it down, get the injured to the pods and come with me," Commander Rei said as she held on to his collar. "Yes, Mam!" the Solider replied and proceeded to do what he was told. /Commander Rei and a few remaining Soldiers ran with her back to the control room/ "We have the ship under control, Sir Umbrella," said a Drone. "Good, now get it out of my way. I will deploy after we break their Defense Line and then we interrupt a certain meeting," He replied. /Commander Rei shot the Drone while the other Soldiers killed the remaining/ "We have the bridge under control again, Commander," said a Solider. "Great, get Captain Alice on my line and tell her to haul ass," She replied as she reloaded her weapon. "Right way!" the Solider replied. /Solider gave her a com-link headpiece/ "Captain Alice! Where are you?" asked Commander Rei as she looked through the window of the ship. "I'm on a ship right now heading to yours, it's still under heavy fire you know," She replied as her ship dodged AA shells. "Just get your asset on my fucking ship. We are not losing this Cruiser to them!" Commander Rei angrily shouted. "I'll be there," said Alice as she cut the line. /Alice's airships flew close to Commander Rei's ship and prepared her troops to start boarding the ship/ "She always acts like a bitch," Alice mumbled as she reached inside of the ship. "Captain Alice! Great to see you again," said Private Roger while covering from Drone fire. "Roger, great to see you alive. How many still on this ship?" She replied as she took cover as well. "The others are located in the control room where Commander Rei is, a few are on the runway and in other parts of the ship," He said. "Alright! Let's move out and try to advance to Commander Rei's position immediately," said Alice as the troops and Private Roger followed her. "Commander Rei! What is your position?" I asked over her commlink. "I am being overrun! They are trying to retake the control room! By the way, Umbrella is leading this attack!" she said as she fired back after the Drones. "Umbrella! Dammit, this is bad. Order your other superiors or captains to defend your side so, Alice can assist you because they have already held back the remaining enemies," I said. "Huh hmph, understood. I'll be right on it," She replied. "Rei!" shouted Alice coming out of the vents. "Friendlies!" said the Soldier next to Commander Rei. "You finally made it," she said. "Of course, I would have made it in time. My troops are trying to retake this ship, but we need to take down that boarding Cruiser that has this ship on lockdown," Alice said as she pointed at it through the window. "I see, get the remaining men off this ship, Alice. I'll stay here since we can't save this ship... I'll just have to give it to them," Commander Rei said with a smirk. "What are you planning to do?" asked Alice in concern. "Don't mind me, I have it under control," She said. "Commander! With all due respect, you're injured, and you are not fit to keep on fighting," said, Private Roger as he pointed out her injuries. "He is right Rei, just let this ship go," Alice said pleading for Rei to listen to her. "That's exactly what I'm going to do... Now Leave! That's an Order!" Commander Rei shouted. "Fine, have it your way! Private Roger, Staff Sergeant Kyle and the rest of you, it's time for us to leave!" shouted Alice as she walked out the door leaving Commander Rei in the control room. "I'm staying here with the Commander! Captain Alice, go on without me," Staff Sergeant Kyle says as he turned back to the control room. /Alice looked back at Staff Sergeant Kyle, nodded her head and left with the others. Sergeant Kyle then gives his remain ammo and tools to Private Roger and Lieutenant Axel/ "You didn't need to stay Kyle," Commander Rei said as she sat down in her chair. "It's up to a Soldier to do his duty and that's what I was trained to do," Staff Sergeant Kyle said, smiling. /Commander Rei and Staff Sergeant Kyle drove the Cruiser into the enemies' boarding ship and lead it to the mother ship which held Umbrella's special units, but the ship just scratched it then exploded/ "Did you think Commander Rei and Staff Sergeant Kyle made it out alive?" asked Private Roger as he looked at the burning ship fall. "I hope so," replied Alice, staring at it, hoping that they did. /Alice and Commander John continued the fight will Commander Rei and Staff Sergeant Kyle where MIA/
