It was near pitch black in the cave where the spider made her lair. Not that it was a bother to her at least her new captive? Very much a bother. Arcee woke up with her legs tied together at her ankles and being suspended by her arms and servos and with something locked around her neck. "Stupid rocks." She muttered "so, your finally awake." She heard a slightly amused voice from above her and she locked optics with her kidnapper "how long has it been arcee? Oh, right I remember, since I sold you, and the rest of the autobots out at the zeta 3 base." Airacnhid hopped down from the cave ceiling arcee attempted to shift but tried her best to hide her growing fear when she couldn't but she still held airacnhid's gaze "like it? It's called an anti-shift collar. Made specifically for you." Airacnhid then scratched a mark along arcee's right cheek some energon seeped from the would that now was burning from the acid on airacnhid's digit tip. Arcee sucked in a breath "this doesn't look like the con warship." Arcee said
"Megatron said I have you to myself for a bit. He's taking care if the issue that is known as Wildspark. I assure you that name doesn't come from anywhere." The spider's legs transformed from the ones on her back to her normal ones "his name is steeljaw."
"Oh? You know?" The decepticon femme asked "my brother is still fighting what someone stuck in his helm." Arcee replied "well I'll have you know it's because of that strong will of his that will prove his downfall." The spider spat back "that's where your wrong airacnhid. Steeljaw will never stop fighting. I can promise you that." Arcee said
At the autobot base
Causeway had been pacing around the main area ever since she got back. Optimus watched her while speaking with her through the bond between them.
#What are we going to do oppy?# causeway asked #we find her. Whether she is on the nemesis or somewhere on this world or somewhere else.# optimus responded ratchet had been working at the ground bridge console trying to fix a lever when a message came in. "I'll take care of it ratchet." Causeway said "speak of unicron." She muttered .:everyone get in here.:. Causeway said over the commlink [heading your way, raf and I are on a drive.] Bumblebee beeped .:coming.:. Bulkhead replied as he appeared from some other part of the base. Optimus made optic contact with causeway and he gave her a single nod and then she played the message
"Autobots. As you know the decepticons are in possession of arcee." Airacnhid chuckled "both prime's sparklings finally." She sighed and then moved a little to reveal arcee hanging from the cave's ceiling with cuts and other scrapes all over her. "Hey guys." Arcee murmured "if you want her back...Then megatron believes all of your energon will suffice." All the autobots looked at each other optimus then looked at arcee she shook her helm no. "You have 2 earth hours to make your decision. Who knows, Wildspark might get a friend." Causeway braised her servos on the console "If your done monologuing then maybe you should leave us to discus your offer." Airacnhid rolled her optics and then ended it. Then bumblebee and raf came in [did we miss it?] He beeped "unfortunately, yes, arcee isn't looking as well has we would have hoped. But she's not on the warship." Optimus said "I'm attempting to track the signal. But with the technology available to me, it may take some time." Ratchet said as he started typing "as long as it takes less then 2 hours." Bulkhead responded "I think it best to start with some less average methods. Anyone here good at digging?" Causeway asked bulkhead and bumblebee looked at each other. "That may prove difficult considering none of us may fit." Optimus cut in "dear, do you have any better ideas?" Causeway retorted optimus sighed "it's not like we have much else to go on. Ratchet, please contact us if you find out where they are, in the meantime we've got some digging to do." Optimus turned to everyone else
"be careful bee, this con doesn't seem like she's joking." Raf warned [Thanks pal, but you have no idea what she cost us.] Bumblebee beeped back
"Bulk, you've got this, just don't scream like you did with those scraplets." Miko said "Miko!" Bulkhead said embarrassedly "scraplets? Oh primus no." Causeway shuttered then activated the ground bridge. "Autobots! Roll out!" Optimus shouted.
Somewhere underground
Arcee grunted as she tried to get her arm out of the webbing that was holding her upwards airacnhid had skittered off to primus knew where. Arcee gave up on that arm *great job, cee, first time you leave the base to not go to town you get captured! Urgh, mom and dad aren't gonna let me out of there anytime soon! That is, if you can get yourself outta this mess.* airacnhid had left some time earlier and footsteps could be heard coming closer. The first silhouette she could make out was airacnhid's, then Starscream, and finally "Wildspark".
"So this little retch is arcee prime? I thought she'd be taller." Starscream commented "so this little excuse of a seeker is Starscream? Thought you'd be less annoying." Arcee retorted
Starscream stuttered "why you!" He started "starscream." Wildspark put a servo on his shoulder "lord megatron wants her alive. That is when the autobots deliver their energon." Starscream shook of his servo "what is it with you worthless dogs and ruining my conversations with captives?" Starscream shouted "perhaps it's because you attempt to ruin our lord's plans?" Wildspark responded numbly "both of you it's time we talk with the autobots again." Airacnhid said sadistically cheerful "finally some good news." Starscream muttered as the 2 decepticons stepped towards the console.
Wildspark stayed back and he and arcee made optic contact he blinked a couple times and his red optics turned back to yellow and then he reached up and broke part of the chains holding her he winked and stood behind the other decepticons.
Little did any of them know that bumblebee and causeway were able to get through from another entrance that they'd found. The other autobots had the task of keeping everyone else busy while causeway and bumblebee tried to get arcee loose. As the conversation started arcee hadn't noticed causeway and bumblebee and she could tell that optimus was running out of options so she looked her father dead in the optics and mouthed "I love you." Then pulled out her gun and shot herself in the spark. "Arceeon!" Optimus shouted Airachnid ended the transmission and spun around with Starscream and Wildspark. Causeway and bumblebee lept out from where they were hiding and fired at all 3 cons. Airacnhid tunneled deeper even more underground, starscream flew over both their helms, and Wildspark rammed straight through both of them. Causeway ran to arcee and cut her down. Then a bridge opened with optimus and bulkhead came through. Causeway held her daughter "H-Hey mom." She then winched and passed out. Optimus took her from causeway #we need to get her to ratchet.# he said through the bond and they went back through.
