I hate the sound of nothing
Because nothingness does not equal silence
Silence
Suggests a lack of something
And the voices in my head draw to the nothingness
That comes at 2 in the morning
After a night of barely productive
After a night of self served punishment
Because I do not deserve sleep
Since my to do list is neverending
And I've barely made a dent
Sleep is a reward
For those who are caught up
In life
Have everything organized
Sleep isn't a right
Or a necessity
I need
To do something
I want to sleep
But I must stay still
Sitting awake
In this nothingness
That I wish would just be silent
