But we both know that's a lie
"We just weren't meant to be"
Then why does this make me cry
"We can still be friends"
But yet we never talk again
Break ups suck
And we all know it
Why do we fall in love
When it always causes heartache
We do it because we hope
"This time it's different"
When it never is
And they never change
Selfish bastards who know no shame
Leave the tears to the clouds
And the pain for the rain
Their not worth it
Let them be to blame
Life will go on
Even though it hurts
Don't let them get to you
Be the strong one
That comes out first
