Avaa POV

When I heard Julia say we were having a girl, I couldn't help but smile. I know what I said before about having all boys, but something about having a little girl made me really happy. I can't wait until she's old enough to do all kinds of stuff with me and all her aunts. I was also very happy to be having my boys so Lil could teach them stuff. But most of all, I cant wait to start decorating the nursery and buying them clothes. That's going to be my favorite part, hell I wanted to go straight to the mall, but Khalil said not right now. We were on our way to the grocery store to stock the house, I wanted to start buying some stuff for Christmas dinner, so I wouldn't have to worry about it later.

"Hey what you over there thinking about?" Khalil said pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Just about the babies..."

"What about them A?"

"Everything from how we'll have to buy in threes from now on to future family vacations. Fyi I will be that mom that color coordinates, I don't care."

"I don't care, I think that's some cute family shit right there." he said with a chuckle. Then he kissed the tips of his fingers and placed it on my forehead and did the same for my belly, but instead it was three kisses.

"What was that?"

"I can't lean over and kiss you because I'm driving, so kissing my hand and giving it to you was the next best option."

I just smiled because that was a very cute gesture. I stared at him as he drove and I simply admired his features. His beard was thick, his hair was smooth, his lips were perfect- if I didn't know any better I was slowly but surely falling for this man. Yes, I know its only been a month, but I swear he's got my heart. But, I'll be damned if I say the L word first, he's not about to have me feeling embarrassed and shit.

We got to the store and I searched my purse for the shopping list. After a few huffs and puffs, Khalil just pulled it out of his back pocket with a smirk.

"Asshole." I muttered while walking away.

"I heard that!" Khalil yelled running to catch up to me. When he caught up, he smacked my ass hard, "I'm not an asshole."

I turned around and gave him a smooth punch to the chest and he let out a scream, "Avaa, that's my broken rib!"

Shit. I immediately felt bad and started rubbing where I'd punched him. I know how bad a broken rib hurts and the length of the healing time, so I know that really hurt. In all honesty, I didn't think I'd punched him that hard, but he was still holding onto this side 10 minutes later. But we continued our shopping and got everything off the list and a few extras, mostly for me, and now we were in the cookie aisle. I started picking up random cookies for later.

"Marie," Khalil called me by my middle name, "what do you need all those for?"

I just shrugged and said "pregnancy craving."

"No, you're just being fat," he tried to say under his breath, but I heard him.

"Fat? Really, Khalil?"

His eyes grew as big as saucers because he knew he'd fucked up, "baby no I-"

"Nah its cool, next time find somebody else to carry your triplets, since I'm so damn fat."

Now his eyes got darker and I knew he was angry with what I said, but he shouldn't have called me fat. He took a deep breath and turned around, leaving me in the aisle to finish shopping alone, but at that point I was done shopping, so I went to check out. I stood in line and looked around for Khalil, but I didn't see him. I'm gon leave his ass right here in this damn store. When it was my turn, I put everything on the conveyor belt by myself, even all the heavy shit that a pregnant woman has no business picking up. The cashier finished ringing everything up and I paid and pushed that heavy ass cart to the car. Khalil's ass was still no where to be found, so I started to unload the small stuff from the cart. I bent down to get one of the cases of water from under the cart.
