Penny: I see. So, these are the circumstances concerning Miss Blake.

Ruby: Mhm. (remembering Weiss and Yang's words) To tell you the truth, I think those two were actually right.

Ruby: It's only because Y/N decided to go look for her that I got the courage to do the same, but even if we do manage to find her... What would I even say to her?

Ruby: It just feels like nothing make sense anymore...

Y/N: (places a comforting hand on her shoulder) Ruby...

Penny: Despite all that, Miss Blake is your friend, right?

Penny: No matter what person she may or may not be, the fact of your friendship remains the same. (as Ruby comes to a realization) Am I incorrect?

Meanwhile, Blake is seen laying flat on her stomach on a nearby rooftop overlooking the shipment of Schnee Dust containers.

Sun: (approaching Blake before trying to hand her a green apple) Want one?

Blake: (giving Sun a questioning look) Do you always break the law without giving a second thought?

Sun: (defensively countering) Hey, weren't you in a cult or something? (backs off as Blake gives him an angry glare) Okay, too soon!

After settling down both faunus are seen eating together in an awkward silence until Blake breaks it with a question.

Blake: Why are you hanging out with me?

Sun: It's like I said before-

Blake: No, I mean...you don't know a thing about me.

Sun: (sigh) You keep talking about me not knowing you and about what my  "objective" is when it's really simple.

Sun: I'm the type who can't abandon someone who's down in the dumps. Is that such a weird reason?

Blake: ....

Sun: If the problem's us not knowing anything about each other, then why not throw me a bone and tell me a little about yourself?

Sun: (jokingly) Especially as partners in crime. (receives a hard glare from Blake) C'mon that last part was just a joke.

Blake: ..."Fangs of pure white need not shed blood." That was the original meaning for the White Fang.

Blake: I was a member of the White Fang for most of my life, you could almost say I was born into it.

Within the cat faunus' memory, multiple silhouettes of fallen weapons consisting of swords, guns, and any number of combinations are all plunged into the ground.

Blake: (narrating over the memory) Back then, things were different. In the ashes of war, the White Fang was meant to be a symbol of peace and unity between Humans and the Faunus.

Two trios, one consisting of the faunus while the other consisted of regular humans. Both sides are seen shaking hands representing the peace made between both races after a long age of struggle.

Blake: (narrating as the memory shows the outline of a white faunus cowering in fear of the gray-and-black aggressors harassing the hybrid) Of course, despite being promised equality, the Faunus were subjected to discrimination and hate. Humanity still thought of us as lesser beings. And so, the White Fang rose up as a voice of our people. And I was there.

From the memory, multiple silhouettes of Faunus protestors are revealed, and emerging from the shadows is a young Blake, with her black cat ears shown in full view.
