I looked down at Tamara.
"What?"
She sat up in bed and grabbed my hand. She pressed it against her stomach.
"I'm pregnant, Giovanni."
I instantly grinned at her.
"I love you so much."
I hugged her tiny body and pulled her into my lap.
"So, you're fine with this?", she asked.
"Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?", I questioned.
She paused and gazed into my eyes, before shaking her head.
"Nothing. I love you so much.", She said before kissing me.

I took another sip of scotch.
"Hi.", I heard a familiar voice say.
I turned and saw Valeria.
"Hey. What are you doing here?"
"We came looking for Karina. She likes to hide out here when something's bothering her."
"Is everything okay?"
"She got into Columbia. Gio didn't take it well."
"That's amazing. He'll get over it. Everything will be fine."
"I know. I've been meaning to talk to you."
I turned towards her.
"What is it?"
She gazed into my eyes and grabbed my hand.
"I've been thinking about everything in the past and how you've always been there for me."
"Of course. You're my best friend."
"What if we were more? What if I became something more for you?"
She leaned closer to me and laid her hand on my thigh.
Is she serious? Is this finally happening?
"Val..What about Tony?"
"He isn't you."
I began leaning into her before she slapped me.
My face began stinging.
"What the hell, Valeria?!"
"So, it's true? You're in love with me and you never thought to mention that. You really think that I would cheat on my husband. The father of my children. The love of my life."
"Who told you?"
"Your girlfriend. How long, Victor?!"
