Giovanni

I awoke with a smile on my face.

Memories from last night came flooding back in.

Tamara.

Images of her popped in my mind.

Her smile. Her giggle. The sound of her moan. The sweet taste of her lips.

I got out of bed and headed to the dining hall to see Bruno, Victor and Juliana sitting down, waiting.

"Its about time.", Victor said.

I sat down next to him. Tamara came and sat in front of me.

"Good morning.", I greeted her, smiling.

"Morning.", she replied sweetly.

I saw Victor looking at us.

"You're in a good mood this morning."

I shrugged at him.

"Does it have anything to do with that hickey on Tamara's neck?", Juliana commented.

Tamara's head shot up and she glared at me.

I chuckled at how red her face was.

"It's fine. Who cares?"

"Maybe I do.", Tamara snapped at me.

"I promise I won't do it again, okay?"

"You got that right.", she mumbled.

The servers came in.

The servers placed bacon and 3-cheese quiche in front of us.

I looked at Tamara. I completely forgot.

"William, Tamara's an vegetarian. Please bring her something else."

William nodded and took her plate.

"That wasn't necessary."

"It's fine. Don't worry."

Soon enough, the server brought Tamara Tofu Quiche With Broccoli.

She began eating quietly.

After we all finished eating, everyone began leaving. I grabbed Tamara's arm, stopping her. I leaned in to kiss her.

"Stop."

I stopped and looked down at her with concerned eyes.

"What's the matter?"

"I've been thinking all night about what happened.. It can't happen again."

She backed away from me.

"Why not?"

"You will not use me to fill in the hole in your heart. I'm not her. I don't want to be. I'm not even sure what I feel for you."

I felt so confused. Maybe she's right. I wanted to fill this hole, this darkness, inside of me so badly that I latched onto the first person who showed a flicker of kindness.

I nodded and looked down at her.

She held my gaze and then turned away.  She exited the dining hall.

I walked out of the dining hall, running into Marianna. Two girls were standing beside her.

"Hi."

"Marianna. You're earlier than expected."

"I just want to get this over with."

I nodded.

"Well, follow me."
