It was a few days later as well as Josh's departure day. Maya was getting ready to say goodbye to her boyfriend as she got herself prepared to do the long distance thing as well. Riley and Lucas were playing with the sixteen month Jacob and Cameron while it was just never seem clear how they are going to survive any of the following stuff. Maya just never did realize how lucky she was to have people who are close to her. Morgan is sitting aside rocking the three day old Stephanie to sleep while Darren was just chatting with Cory, Alan and Eric. Josh was keeping Auggie busy while Topanga and Amy were getting the dinner ready.
"Okay guys. Since Maya is here I have an announcement to make," Josh said and everyone gathered around. "Should I be worried?" Amy asked. "No Ma. You don't have to be worried. I'm not going anywhere. Not LA and not anywhere else," Josh said. "Why?" Maya asked.
"I know you want me to follow my dreams but I can't imagine my life without you. I don't want to. Eventually I'll maybe move on to another part of my job but right now I just want to be with you and get to know you and my cousins better. My timing sucks and I just want to stay here awhile longer. I'm going on with NYU as organized," Josh said. "That's fantastic news Sweetie," Maya said giving Josh a hug. "I actually have something for you," Maya said. "Should we be afraid?" Topanga asked. "No. Lucas hand me that guitar please," Maya said. "Here."
