True Colors

Qrow's scroll started buzzing, so he answers it.

Qrow: Yeah? Okay... Yeah, we'll be there.

He hangs up.

Y/N: Who was it?

Qrow: It was Leo. Says he has a breakthrough with the council. Thinks he might be able to get together a small raiding party for the bandits. He wants us to meet up at the school tomorrow night to walk us through it.

Y/N: Really? That's wonderful! I'll get the others.

Reiko POV

Blake: Did you come in here to hide?

Ilia: I told you, I didn't want this.

Reiko: But you're still here!

Ilia: I don't have a choice!

Reiko: But you do!

Blake: Just... stay out of our way.

We started walking, but Ilia jumped at us, but when that happened, we disappeared thanks to Blake's Semblance. We appeared and ready our weapons as she does too. She tries to electrocute us with her whip, but every time she tried, we avoided, she tried again and blocked it with my staff. It wrapped around my staff, so I pulled back on it to reel her in, then I kicked her hard in the gut making her fly back. Blake then charged at her, and they struggle for power. It looked like Blake was winning.

Blake: Why do you feel like we have to hurt people to get our way?!

Ilia: Because it works!

Blake: That doesn't make it right!

Ilia turned on her weapons electricity, shocking her and making her drop the weapon. I run towards her and hits her with my staff, but she bounces back and kicks me over a desk.

Blake: Reiko!

Ilia tried to electrocute me, but Blake got to me first and made shadows to get me out of the way.

Reiko: Thanks Blake.

Reiko: I'm not going to let a friend die.

Ilia: Stop lecturing me!

She turned off the lights to make it harder to fight. Since she could blend in with the dark, our night vision can't help us. We were looking around not seeing her, but we heard a creak on the side of the building. She kicks Blake, I knocked her back with my staff. I tried to shock her, but she dodged it and kicks me near Blake. Blake started to shoot at her, I clicked a button on the side of the staff, and a scope appeared on the top and a trigger on the bottom turning it into a sniper and I started shooting at her also, but she dodged it all.

Ilia: Why couldn't you just leave?!

Blake: Because I run away too much.

She got upstairs and shot at us, but the light that appears when she shoots at us gave her position and we dodged it. Blake loaded her gambol shroud with Fire Dust.

Blake: Sorry, dad.

She shot the Dust at the plants upstairs. It started spreading allowing us to see. Ilia ran towards us and attacked Blake, I got in front of her and turned my staff back to normal and swung at her, she blocked it, I grabbed her hand but she maneuvered me and shot at me, but I jumped and Blake kicked her back. She ran towards us again, and swung at me twice, dodging the first one and blocking the second one, I hit her in the head then the chin, and Blake swung at her, but Ilia blocks it, so I hit her back. Blake shot at her, but she swings her weapon blocking them.
