Prophecy

Order rises from its chains,

End cannot be restrained,

Heroes of the past face ancient evil,

The cost of life shall stop upheaval.

Allies will be unmasked,

And Death will be tasked.

The image flickered and Order smiled at the demigods. Did they really think that they could defeat her? She smiled to herself and turned to End, who was nervously chewing on his fingernails. She wrinkled her nose in disgust.

"End!" he bolted upright. "Go alert the army," she turned back to the image of the demigods, who were laughing and talking amongst one another.

Not for long, she thought.

"We attack at dawn."

Now

Turns out, the Lotus Hotel was an exact replica of the Lotus Hotel and Casino he had visited when he was twelve. The entrance had a replica of the giant, neon, lotus blossom light that the Casino had had. It flashed, sparkled, and glimmered, trying to grab people's attention.

Too bad everyone was asleep.

The group stepped inside and was instantly greeted with a floral scent. The familiar game-room lobby greeted the demigods. Some of them gasped, whispering excitedly to their friends. Theron smiled at their reactions.

The Commander's eyes scanned the games, he spotted the bungee cord that he had used to bungee jump at the Las Vegas location. He also spotted a waterslide, artificial ski and snowboard slope, virtual reality laser tag, and FBI sharpshooter game; all games that he had played during his stay at the Lotus Hotel and Casino. At the time, it had been a terrifying experience. But now, all he could do was look back on the moments. He also spotted the reverse-hunting game Grover had been stuck at and the 3D City Builder simulation Annabeth loved. He smiled sadly at the memories.

However, not a single unconscious mortal body littered the floor.

Soon enough, the group reached the large, silver elevator. After making sure nobody had snuck out to play on any of the games, she spoke.

"We can stay on the 20th floor," the Daughter of Athena told the group. "It has roof access so we can see any oncoming enemies. I want at least three people on watch at all times."

Theron raised his hand.

"Yes, Commander?" she asked, an eyebrow raised.

"Quick question," he lowered his arm. "Why are there no mortals in here? It looks like a pretty cool place to be."

Annabeth smirked, her mouth raising upward a little as she called the elevator. "Only demigods can see the Lotus Hotel. Mist was placed, thanks to Hazel, to help cover this place up. Mortals see nothing but an abandoned parking lot."

That explained that question. At last, the elevator dinged, and the doors slid open. There was more than enough room to fit the twenty-something demigods.
