Don't Judge a Book by...the Nerd!!! Letters to Letters 18

I sighed through my soft tear still trying to calm down so, of course. I had to cough and of course I had to cover my mouth, I was finally finished with my coughing moment. So, I got up and wipe my tears away while, walking to the mirror to see what a mess I look like right now. I mean my make-up that Amy did is smeared, then my eyes are red and puffy from crying so much and My hair is a big mess itself from the guy who pulled my hair. I ran my fingers through my hair and pulled the pony tail I had in my back pocket. I tied my hair in a mess bun and then once I finish with my hair I turned on the sink to hot and splash some water to my face. And I found paper towel and wiped my face to clean up the smear marks. Soon, when I was done. I looked at myself..I can tell something is different about me...but, I can't put my finger on it .

I sighed and balled up the paper towel and turned off the warm water, started looking for the garbage bin...soon when, I found it I thrown it away. Looked at myself one last time and I walked to the door and opened it then, I shut it and walked out just to see Dexter leaning against the wall with a sad look upon, his face. I was about to say something but, he walked to me and pulled me to a hug. I wrapped my arms around his waist and he whispered in my ear

"I'm sorry I got you in trouble Gwen. I don't know it would be that serious."

I sighed on to his shoulder where I laid my head on and said in a whisper

"It's not your fault he is a jerk and let his daughter being an loser. You just wanted me to have fun and I did and a lot. I wished I wasn't in my bubble when, I was in high school. I just wasted 3 years of being a nerd. Something was going to happen tonight but, I don't know what it was going to be...And it happens to be in trouble with a weird group of guys and my own dad. It's fine."

He pulled me closer and said while ulling his face away from my neck

"Your just making it worst for me already Gwen."

I gave a him a small sad smile and said

"Well, don't be okay. I'm fine now. Jeremy said I can stay here for a bit until, everything cools off."

Dexter nodded his head and said still with a frown

"And sorry for being a jackass when, you were down...Gwen. It's just you ran out and I couldn't find you and you got me worried after, the gang that was at the football field I don't want nothing to happen to you."

I was speechless, he really cares about me and my feelings...How sweet of him. I sighed and shook my head and said with a small sad smile

"While,... I do have something to tell you guys that I...really don't get a chance too. So, come down stairs so I can tell you."

Dexter shook his head and said

"No, were up here now. His mom is home with her...boyfriend and having dinner."

I raised an eye brow and Dexter said quickly while, grabbing my unharmed hand

"Come one, I'll show you to your new bed room that Jeremy is setting up for you."

I was still surprised by that...I'm living somewhere else beside my own home. I let Dexter lead me to my 'new' room and I guess it's beside Jeremy's room. Dexter opened the door and I was surprised...it's a big room. I have a big bed, desk, t.v, closet, chairs , bookcase and mini refrightdor. I couldn't help but, to grasp and point to myself and said

"It's my room."

Jeremy gave me his cheese grin and said

"Yep, it's your now! And I forget to show you something and it's really cool"

He walked to the window and opened it up and signed us to come over and we did. Jeremy said while, we walked over

"It's the roof top and you can climb on it and watch the neighborhood or get away from anything."

I smiled and said while, looking out the window to see it's a beautiful sight and especially at night time. He said while, climbing out

"Come on, you guys."

I was bit surprised but, I climbed out and hold both Dexter and Jeremy's hands because, of one...I hate climbing out of windows since  what happened me the last time and two I don't want to fall and the last one...I don't want to fall! Jeremy said while, leading us to sit down with him which we did

"I hope you guys like it because, I like to came here and think and stuff."

I smiled and said "Thanks for showing us, Jeremy. It's really cool."

He nodded his head and Dexter agree too. With, this night I was looking at the sky and how high up it is and how untouched it is. I sighed and leaded back bit and looked at it and the moon it was really bright out here and clear to see. I smiled softly to myself thinking ''It's good to have friend like them around.''

We just stared at the stars together and made small chats.
