Chapter 15🌙 A Secret for Our Sake

The Fairy Forest was still. The usual buzzing of fairies flying around came to a halt, intently watching the human and witch at a standoff. Midoriya gulped down his saliva, afraid that if it surfaced he would throw up. Marcus on the other hand was infuriated that the green haired kid was there. His mind going haywire with different scenarios about the boy telling people about their home. A place where him, his family, and all of these creatures in the Seeks Realm could live peacefully. Their safe haven

"I-I...um....I was just. L-looking for Miss Ivory", Midoriya manages to stutter. The ravenette narrowed his heterochromatic eyes at him, not wanting to believe him. Matilda cautiously steps in and places her dainty hands onto Midoriya's shoulders. "Don't be so hard on Izuku. He happened to walk into the door while it was still enchanted", she whispers sweetly. Marcus scoffs, "please. Ivory always makes sure that the magic has worn off in those few seconds. Hell let alone having the door closed."

The albino woman sweats as she knew the seventeen year old spoke the truth. "Y-yeah! Yeah you're right you're right! B-but...maybe she was in her own little world and just forgot at the time! You know how she gets so indulged in her thoughts."

"Even so she makes sure that the door is safe." Matilda seemed to sweat even more, glancing back at Leo for help. But he was obviously no help as he put his hands up and closed his eyes with a stupid grin. Showing Matilda that he wasn't gonna help her with any explanation. "I'm n-not gonna tell anyone about this place", Midoriya says. Marcus glares harder at Midoriya, making the boy yelp. A familiar voice soon came from behind everyone. "Marcus why on earth did you ru-? Bunny Rabbit?"

Everyone turned to looks at the albino that stood not to far away. The other Seeks children right behind her panting and huffing. "Did you seriously have to run", Ellen asks. "Y'all didn't have to follow", Marcus says. "You never run out the house without even saying one word", Austin says. "Hey who's the broccoli kid", Owen asks. Irene taps him harshly on top of the head, making the boy whine. "Hush! That isn't nice", she whispers in a rough tone. Ivory looks over at her short student, sighing loudly through her nose.

"Midoriya. Come with me." Midoriya tenses up at the mention of his name actually being used by the witch instead of his nickname. So he knew whatever she had to say to him was going to be serious. Midoriya watched as her eleven siblings followed after her, Marcus glaring as he walked past him. Making sure to bump into his shoulder on purpose. Matilda skips after with Leo right behind her. Leo ruffles the green haired boy's unruly hair.

Midoriya gaped at the magnificent house that stood atop a slight hill. The little ones raced up the stairs and into the house, Leo, Matilda, and the older Seeks children slowly making their way up the stairs. Midoriya stood next to his teacher who hadn't said much to him on their walk through the beautiful but unbelievable forest. "Bunny Rabbit", Ivory finally says. He snaps his head up to her, a nervous smile on his face. Ivory looked down at him and smiles sweetly. "This way."

The two started walking away from the house and back towards the forest. Ivory's staff stabbed down at the leaves on the grass, Midoriya imagined them wallowing in pain. "Do you know why you were able to get to this other side", Ivory asks suddenly. Midoriya's breath hitches in his throat, worried that if he squeaked out his answer, it wouldn't come out right. Ivory chuckles, "I see that you don't want to answer. It's okay, you were supposed to come in." Green eyes met green, one in astonishment and the other in amusement. "W-what", Midoriya stutters out.

"You heard correct. I knew you were following me back by the train station. So I thought keeping the spell up for a tad bit longer would let you in. Hehe, and I was right." Midoriya shakes his head, "why would you do that?" The albino sighs and looks up at the evergreen trees. She touched a few of the leaves, the colors changed into a rusty orange before it turned back green. "I figured that eventually one of you would have to figure it out sooner or later. Whether this place was talked about on accident or on purpose by the other teachers."

"Wait! So who all knows?"

"There's Shouta. Hizashi. Toshinori. Nezu. And that skank Midnight."

"Hehe, why don't you say Midnight's actual name?"

"Let's just say, we don't have a good relationship for us to talk on...first name terms. Hell even her last name is poison on my tongue."

"Harsh."

It was quiet again between the two, Midoriya looks over to see little boy and girl elf picking flowers and making them into jewelry. He smiles at them before facing forward. "Why did you allow me to know", he asks. Ivory sighs, picking at a shimmery gold flower that was growing from a tree. It soon grew back in full bloom. "I trust all of you", she says, "I do. But I feel that this would be too much for most of them to handle at the moment. You all are so curious about my quirk and the creatures that appear. But...someone had to be the first to know. If that makes sense."

Midoriya smiles, "it does." Ivory makes the gold flower levitate, green glowing around it as the plant twisted and stretched. More gold flowers started appearing, making a flower crown. Small gasps were heard from a short distance. Ivory cuts her eyes over to the two children, the girl hiding behind the boy who stood still. The witch hero smiles and creates a second flower crown. She hands them to Midoriya, which makes him stiffen. Ivory chuckles, "don't be afraid. They're only children."

Midoriya nods his head and slowly makes his way over, the small elf boy keeping the girl behind him in a protective manner. Midoriya kneels to their level and smiles. "These are for you", he practically whispers. Hoping that his soft voice would make them trust him. The little girl peeks from behind the boy and stares down at the beautiful golden crowns that were dazzled in diamonds and white leaves. The little girl moves from behind the boy and steps forward. Midoriya places a flower crown on her head, tucking a stand of atomic blonde hair behind her pointy ear. "Gorgeous", he says.

The girl giggles as her soft squishy cheeks fill in pink. The green haired boy looks up at the boy who stared at the girl. The boy looks at Midoriya before cautiously stepping closer. Midoriya places the jeweled flower crown onto his dark chestnut brown hair. "Well don't you look handsome", Midoriya chuckles as he ruffles the boy's hair making the boy whine and girl laugh cutely. "My name's Izuku. What's your guys names?" The two children look at each other before the boy speaks up.

"My name's Lucius. And this is Deity, she's partially deaf", Lucius says. Midoriya smiles at them, "it's wonderful to meet you."

"C-can you pway with us", Deity asks while moving her hands. Midoriya smiles, "sorry. I can't today. Maybe next time?" Deity looks up at Lucius, the boy moving his hands to sign. Deity smiles and nods her head. The two children hug Midoriya before running off to the field of colorful flowers. The teen was frozen in place, amazed by what had just happened. "Bunny Rabbit." He turns to his teacher, "yes", he says.

"Please. For mine , my family and friend's, and the creatures of this realm's sake. Keep this a secret until a dire situation comes up. That involves me."

Midoriya fidgets in place, not knowing how he can take this news. "Before I agree, can I ask one question?" Ivory shrugs, "shoot."

"Are...you a witch? Like a real witch?" The albino straightens up from her leaning position and walks up to Midoriya. She places her hand onto his head and runs her slim fingers through his hair. "I am. And so is my family. Now, your promise?"

Midoriya laughs, "I promise, your secret will be sealed until you are in a dire situation. But what if they figure it out before then?"

"Then I guess they'll just have to know."
