I put my hand on Amber's pod

Pyrrha: if all this is true, why keep it a secret? If this girl is so important, if-if we're truly on the brink of war, why not tell everyone?

Glynda: From What we understand, it used to be common knowledge.

Pyrrha: Excuse me?

Qrow: How do you think legends and fairy tales get started? Even the craziest ones come from somewhere. (Drinks from his flask)

Glynda: Our group was founded in order to protect both mankind and the Maidens. Those hungry for power hunted them with the hope of inheriting their strength.

Qrow: And as you can imagine, the ones that succeeded weren't exactly the kind of people you'd want to have unimaginable power.

Ironwood: And so this brotherhood chose to remove the maidens from the public eye, allowing their existence to fade away into legend.

Glynda: The things we're telling you go against hundreds of years of human history, religion.

Ironwood: No one would want to believe us. It'd cause an uproar.

Ozpin: It would cause panic. And we all know what that would bring clawing to our kingdoms' walls. Which is why we would like to-

Pyrrha: I'll do it. If you believe this will help humanity, then I will become you Fall Maiden. That's what you wanted, isn't it?

Ozpin: It is, but I'm afraid it's not that simple. Given Amber's condition, you won't be able to inherit her power naturally. However, General Ironwood believes he has a solution.

Ironwood: For the past few years, Atlas has been studying aura from a more scientific standpoint. How it works; what it's made of; how it can be used. We've made significant strides. And we believe we found a way to capture it.

Qrow: Capture it and cram it into something else. Or in your case...

Pyrrha: That's-

Ironwood: Classified.

Pyrrha: -wrong!

Glynda: The feeling is mutual. But desperate times calls for desperate measures.

Ironwood: And these are indeed desperate times. We can't transfer Amber's powers to you, but we can give you what those powers are bound to.

Pyrrha: Her Aura.

Ozpin: Her life would become intertwined with yours. The question is...

Qrow: What's that gonna do to you?

Ozpin: You have an important decision before you, Miss Nikos. There's no guarantee this transfer will work, and there's no telling if you will be the same person if it does. I advise you to take time to think on this matter. But understand that before the Vytal Festival is over, we will need your answer.

I put my hand back on the pod

Ozpin: The assailant that attacked the Fall Maiden has made their first move, and there's no telling when their next move will be.

Y/N POV

I had just defeated Ryoko in a sparring match with Kitsune watching

Y/N: You ok? (Extends Hand to Ryoko)

Ryoko: Yea. (Takes hand) You really have recovered since that battle against Team FNKI.

Y/N: Unfortunately I'm not at my real strength yet, so I let Yang battle the singles round.

Just then Ruby ran up to us.

Y/N: Hey Ruby.

Ruby: Hey Y/N, Ryoko, Kitsune. You all should hurry. The singles round are about to start.

Y/N: Oh, right. Come on guys.

We got to the arena and quickly took our seats where the rest of Team RWBY are.

Port: Now, for the moment you've all been waiting for: The one on one finals! Barry, why don't you explain the rules?

Oobleck: Uhh, it's quite simple Peter. Instead of a bracket system, each round of the finals will be randomly determined immediately before the match takes place.

Port: Much like any good hunt, there will be zero time to prepare.

Oobleck: Ah, yes yes. Now let's see who our first match will be!

Port: Yang Xiao Long and Mercury Black!

Ruby: Break a leg, sis!

Port: Would all other combatants please leave the stage.

Yang: You better not go easy on me.

Mercury: Heh, you wish.

Port: Three! Two! One! Fight!

Yang threw a punch as Mercury went for a kick. They clashed and they both took a step back. He went for another kick, but Yang jumped over him avoiding it. Yang fired a bullet, which mercury maneuvered around it, then she threw a punch, but Mercury blocks it with his arm. She threw another punched which he evaded slightly out of range. Then they both combat each other hand to hand dodging and blocking each attack. They both hit each other in the face knocking them both back. Yang fired bullets at him, but he moved to one side and ran around Yang to avoid the bullets. Mercury jumped up for a kick, but Yang blocks it. After that Mercury backflipped away. Yang punches at him, but Mercury ducks and kicks Yang up. Yang recovers and charged at Mercury and punches him, Mercury was barely blocking the attacks. Mercury went for a kick, but Yang dodges but loses her balance in the process. Mercury tried to kick down, but Yang moves out of the way. Yang went for a punch, but Mercury kicks to block it. It stayed even for a while, but then Yang was able to deliver a elbow to his stomach making him fall to the ground. Yang shoots at him, but he backflips avoiding all of them. He fell off the stage doing so, but he uses his legs to shoot himself back up avoiding elimination. Mercury constantly kicks at Yang each one being blocked. Mercury shoots at Yang, but Yang simply dodged it. Mercury spins around and shoots around, then Yang went for a punch. Mercury blocked it and kicks her up and then kicks her back down. All the shots hitting point blank into Yang. Mercury was about to walk away, but he stops when Yang lights up like fire. Yang rushes towards him and hits him back, He goes for three kicks which is avoided. Then Yang constantly punches him into his aura is depleted defeating him.

Port: What a way to kick off the finals!

Oobleck: Yang Xiao Long wins!

Ruby: Yea! You did it, sis!

Yang POV

Yang: Better luck next time.

I begin to walk away, but Mercury says something.

Mercury: There's not going to be a next time, Blondie!

Mercury tries to kick me, but I punched his leg.

Oobleck: My word!

Port: Cut the cameras!

Mercury: Ah! My leg! My leg!

Yang: That's what you get you little-Huh?

A bunch of military robots surround me.

Atlas soldier: Yang Xiao Long, stand down!

Yang: What?! Why?!

Emerald: Mercury!

Mercury: Why'd she do that?! Why'd she attack me?!

I look at the screen that shows me walking past Mercury and out of nowhere punches him in the leg. I looked over at my Team, and they all looked shocked.
