Time-skip to tonight

Ruby and I saw Jaune outside his room and we went to see what's up.

Y/N: Hey Jaune.

Ruby: Long time no see. Did you lock yourself out again?

Jaune: Oh, um nope. (Shows his scroll) See.

Ruby: So, where have you been lately?

Jaune: I Uh... I messed up. I did something I shouldn't have and now Cardin gots me on a leash... and Pyrrha won't even talk to me... I'm starting to think coming to this school was a bad idea. (Slides down the window) I'm a failure.

Y/N: No.

Jaune: No?

Y/N: No. You're a lead now Jaune. You're not allowed to be a failure. (As we sit down next to Jaune)

Jaune: But, What If I'm a failure at being a leader?

Ruby: Nope.

Jaune: You know, you're not the easiest person to talk to about this stuff.

Ruby: Nope. Maybe you were a failure when you were a kid. And you might have even be a failure the first day we met. But you can't be one now. You know why?

Jaune: Uhhh, because-

Ruby: Because it's not just about you any more. You got a team now Jaune. We both do. And if we fail, than we'll just be bringing them down with us. We have to put our teams first... and ourselves second.

Y/N: You're team deserves a great leader, and I think that could be you.

We walked back in the dorm and says our Goodnight to Jaune.

Y/N: You handled that like a champ.

Ruby: Thank you.

Y/N: Well, we should get some rest. We have a field trip.

Ruby: yea.

We said our Goodnights and went to bed. Good thing the beds came today. I let Ryoko have the top bunk and I had the bottom.

Time-skip to the field trip

Glynda: Yes students, the forest the forever fall in indeed beautiful. But we are not here to sight-see. Professor peaches asked all of you to collect samples from the trees deep inside this forest. And I'm here to make sure none of you die while doing so. Each of you will each gather one jar of red sap. However this forest is full of the creatures of Grimm. So be sure to stay by you're teammates. We will rendezvous back here at 4 o'clock. Have fun!

Jaune POV

I collected 6 jars for Cardins team and I. And when I did I collapse on the ground.

Cardin: Great work Jauney boy. Now that wasn't to hard, was it?

Jaune: (stuffed) I think I might be allergic to this kind of stuff.

Cardin: Great, Great Great. So, Jaune, I bet you been wondering to yourself why my buddy Cardin asked me to get 6 jars of tree sap when there's only 5 of us?

Jaune: That is 1 of the many questions I have asked myself today, yes.

Cardin: Well, come with me and you'll find out.

Jaune: Oh.(gulp)

I follow Cardin and asked what's going out.

Cardin: Payback.
