I was getting terrible cramps from being in there so long. I was going to come out.

Amara pov

I lifted the top open, which was already unlocked. *creeEEEEK*
    I was blinded from the light, the smell of steak filled my nostrils. I swayed over to lay on my bed. I was extremely dizzy along with a horrible headache. I turned the door nob expecing it to be locked.
    It wasn't for once. I opened the door walking down the hall feeling heat rise to my head swaying back and forth. I sat on the floor in the hall breathing in and out. I felt two arms wrap around me picking me up. "Where have you been I was so worried!!" Said a voice I haven't heard in days, It was Billie. I missed that voice, idk why but it always soothed me. When she wasn't yelling of course. She carried me to my bed still hugging me. I felt something warm fall on my leg, I opened my eyes and saw Billie crying.

Crying over me? Maybe she really did care..

We sat there hugging for about 5 more minutes till she broke the silence.
"You should eat something" she whispered into my ear
She took my hand and led me down the stairs. I felt oddly relaxed. I didn't notice how much I was sweating. The cold floor helped me cool down though. "Now" Billie said getting a plate, and placing food on it, "eat this you will feel better" she continued
I took it. There was steak, potatoes, gravy, and corn. I gulped it down within minutes. I always took dinner food for granted. "Good girl" Billie said smiling
She took my hand leading me back upstairs. And sat on my bed motioning her hand for me to sit by her. "Where were you? I haven't seen you in days" she said in a gentle voice.
I didn't no whether I should tell her or not
"Oh um" I hesitated
"You can tell me" she said placing her hand around my back
"Ill show you" I said shyly, getting up
She followed as I picked up the rug pulling the small handle, revealing a small space underneath
"You were there for 4 days?" She asked with a confused look
"Yea" I said looking down
"But why" she asked
"Because I needed a break of getting yelled at and having to do chores" I said looking sad expecting her to feel bad for me, but her reaction wasn't what I was expecting..
