Bill Denbrough x Reader

"(Y-Y-Y/N)?" Bill stammered.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Can you sing that song Richie likes so much? Africa?"

In answer I began to softly sing the song to him as asked. After a solid fifteen minutes of singing I began to hum instead feeling as though it might be a little more calming. I continued to play with our entwined hands trying my best to be a comfort to him. We stayed that way for a few hours before I was told I would need to go home. I gathered my soaked clothes and gave Bill one last peck on the lips and went out the door. The air was brisk and cool, but it thankfully had stopped raining. I only had a few blocks of a walk to my house from Bill's so I started my nightfall trek at a reasonable pace. I felt so drained, the entire day taking so much out of me. I began to say a silent prayer that Georgie would be found soon and that all of this would just be a horrible memory−CRACK!

A sharp noise brought me out of my thoughts and back to the present. I looked around me to see where the noise came from before settling with the answer that a rabbit or squirrel were just getting antsy. So, I continued on my short walk before I heard a giggle. Not just any giggle, but I'm pretty certain its Georgie's giggle. I began to quickly look every which way trying to see if I could catch a glimpse of him.

"Georgie," I drawled cautiously, "Is that you?"

I heard the giggle again before a streak of yellow caught my eye.

"Georgie!" I called following him into the woodsy area near my home, "What are you doing out here? We need to get you home, come on your parents and Bill are worried sick!"

The giggling stopped and was replaced with an eerie silence. I looked around and saw nothing but trees, no sign of the boy that led me here. I heard a twig snap behind me causing me to quickly spin towards the noise where I saw Georgie there holding a red balloon.

"Georgie? What are you doing?" I asked him dread filling my veins.

"I wanted to see you (Y/N)," he said taking a step towards me. I took a step back as I stared at the child in front of me. This was not Georgie. There was no way something was off. I couldn't place it, but it gave me the creeps.

"You need to go home Georgie," I told him.

"I want you to float with me (Y/N)," "Georgie" said.

"What?" I asked him in confusion.

"You can float too!" He excitedly railed, "You can float too! You can float too!"

I began to back away from him as his voice began to shift from childlike to deeper and more menacing, "No thanks."

That was when his body began to change and formed into an evil looking clown. It had crazy ginger hair, piercing yellow eyes, paper white skin, and the most menacing smile I have ever seen. I screamed in surprise trying to flee away from him when I was stopped by the red balloon. It grabbed at my wrist and pulled me towards the monster.

"You'll. Float. TOO!" It exclaimed at me as I kicked at it. It's face contorted into confusion as it looked at my fighting form.

"You aren't afraid?" It asked me as I tried flinging my body every-which-way against the apparently strong balloon. I was seething with anger. How dare this thing use Georgie to try and scare me. How dare he try to tarnish the memories I have with this wonderful and sweet boy.

"THIS ISN'T ENOUGH FOR YOU?!" It roared teeth bared, "It was enough for Georgie." That was the last thing I heard before it's hand slammed onto my head like a club and my world faded to black.

I awoke with my head pounding. Wherever I was it was dark and there was no noticeable markers to tell me where the hell I was. A large pile of junk was in the center of my vision and the thing was dancing around it like some crazed lunatic. I tried to shimmy away unnoticed before it roared at me in anger catching me in a seconds. It's hand was at my throat making me gasp for arm as it opened its mouth, "You may not be scared now, but you will be."

That's the last thing I remember before its mouth contorted pulling my head in as I tried to fight its grip. Blinding lights began to fill my vision and then...nothing. Absolutely nothing. All I felt was like I was floating. Floating. Floating...

I felt warm lips on mine and warm tears soak my face. I didn't want to open my eyes as they felt glued shut, but I forced them to open. Especially when I heard someone crying my name. When my eyes finally opened I saw a huddle of faces looking back at me. Richie, Eddie and Stanley where the first that I recognized. They all looked pretty beat up, but so excited and happy. I also saw Mike, which confused me as we never really hung out with him. Then Beverley met my gaze which further confounded me as I'm sure she never hung out with my boys. A boy that I didn't recognize stood beside her holding her hand gazing at me with a look of shock. Then I saw Bill. I gasped once I saw the tears freely flowing down his face. He ran into my form full force, crying. I wrapped my arms around him tightly as tears began to meet my eyes.

"I-I-I thought you were dead!" He sobbed. I was still a little disoriented, but was so happy to see him. I don't know how much time has passed but judging by the new length of my hair it had been a while.

"I'm sorry," I whispered as he pulled back to kiss me. The kiss was full of love and relief. It was comforting and made me feel as though I was finally living again. It felt like home.

Once I separated from Bill I was swallowed in hugs by the other Losers and was shorthandedly introduced to Ben and the situation that occurred (including my long absence) before we set out to find a way out of this hell hole. I grabbed Bill's hand and gave him a nice long kiss as we reached the top, out of the house and was back into the sunlight.

"I n-never gave up l-l-looking for y-you...or G-georgie" He said against my lips. I pressed harder into the kiss trying to show my gratitude.

"I love you Bill Denbrough," I said once I broke the kiss.

"I love you too, (Y/N) (Y/L.N)," He said grinning at me as I pulled him into a hug.

"Never scare me like that again," he muttered into my shoulder. I pulled back lightly slugging him on the shoulder.

"I don't plan on it." I told him all smiles as I grabbed his hand and made our way to the rest of the group.
