Overprotective

As soon as they were five minutes from the school, the screen in the back of the limo flashed, indicating a call from his dad.

He answered and both Tony and Steve was shown on screen.

"Hey Pete. Did you get their safely?" Steve asked

"I'm five minutes away.. guys I'm not a child why are you all acting like this?" Peter asked

"It's for your own safety Peter. It's a new implementation." Tony said

"Well I'm not going to school with those guards. And I'm going on patrol." Peter said

"No. Your going to school with them and not going on patrol." Tony said sternly

"You aren't giving me a reason why and I'm sixteen. I can handle myself right now. Can your guards old a spider when you guys barely can?" Peter said

Steve and Tony looked at each other. Kid did have a point, the Avengers were barely able to contain him when the time came. How would some human guards do the same, no matter how much training.

"Alright, you don't have to go to school with them but they will be around the area. We have legal rights. But in turn, no patrol." Tony said "Deal?"

"A couple hours of patrol and you have a deal." Peter said

"I think that's an unfair deal." Tony said

"I think it's unfair you guys aren't telling me what's going on but putting all these safety measures up. I'll be fine dad. You have a deal including what you said and what I said." Peter said and ended the call

On the other side of the screen, Tony and Steve looked at each other.

"Hey. He got the sass from you." Steve said

"You too. But probably mostly me." Tony sighed

Peter was on patrol after school and stopped a couple minor crimes. Today was pretty easy which was strange because crime had spiked in the neighborhood.

He was swinging around and saw a cat in a tree, an old lady attempting to get it.

Peter was about to gently go up to when his boyfriend, Wade came out of nowhere and kicked the tree, the cat was about to fall off with a loud meow but held on with its claws. The cat now dangled off the tree.

"Oh my goodness!" The old lady said

"Wade!" Peter said

"I got this baby boy." Wade said and punched the tree, the cat falling off and lading on its feet before running back to the old lady.

"Uh...thank you." She said and walked away

They both looked at each other and went up a building to talk (something they usually do).

"Is that why the crime is so low? You've been cleaning them up?" Peter asked once they reached the top

"Hey don't look at me. Ironcan asked me to." Wade said

"What's with them lately? They've all been protecting me from something but not telling me." Peter said

"You don't know?" Wade asked but shut his mouth

"No? What Wade?" Peter said

Wade stayed silent for a couple seconds before kissing Peter.

"You know I love you right?" Wade said

"Wade. What don't I know?" Peter asked seriously

"Ask your parents. Let's go back it's been a couple hours." Wade said

"How do you know I have to go back in a couple hours? What the hell are you guys protecting me from?" Peter said

Wade gently grabbed his arm and they both started making their way back to the Avengers tower.

They both walked in and everyone looked up.

"Thanks Wade." Steve said

"No problem capsicle. Always going to keep Peter safe." Wade said and everyone looked at him

"Safe from what." Peter asked

"Don't worry Peter-"

"But I am worrying." Peter said "If someone doesn't tell me what the hell is going on I'm going to flip out. Seriously."

Everyone shared looks and sighed.

"Okay. Peter some people have been threatening you lately." Tony sighed

"And we're all pretty worried." Steve said

"Is that it? We all get threatened everyday." Peter said

"Not us. You. Specifically you and he's very dangerous." Tony said

"You guys get threatened personally too." Peter said "Whats the big deal?"

"They are a little bit shook up since the whole snap situation." Natasha said

"What?" Peter said

"They're just scared of losing you again Peter." Bruce said

"Guys. We're in the superhero business. Of course we are all in serious danger a lot of the time. And we lose some people. But that's how the game works and how we chose to play it." Peter said "I can handle myself. Yes the snap happened but I was brought back. There's always a solution."

"I guess he has a point." Steve said

"He can handle himself too." Tony sighed

"If you just had told me to be more alert I would've. If anything happened I would try my best to alert you. It'll be fine." Peter said

Everyone looked at each other and nodded.

"Sorry Peter. I guess we all just got a little shook up." Wanda said

"What even is this video? I want to see what this guy said." Peter said

They put the video up from earlier, showing a guy with a deep voice and scary mask. Peter laughed.

"What's so funny?" Steve asked

"Yeah, this is your safety." Tony said sternly

"That's Wade with a mask and voice changer, testing the cameras and trying to prank me with the help Clint on Halloween last year." Peter said through laughs

Everyone looked at Wade and Clint.

"It was his idea." They both pointed at each other

"Your both so dead." Loki said as he saw the expressions of the other Avengers.

"Uh oh." They said simultaneously

They are all way too overprotective when time comes.
