13) do tell

"Well, if I may step in, how was this particular vision interpreted." Isaac questioned curiously and the other three looked to Sophie, curious themselves. "Pretty much that your baby would bring death to all witches alongside Maddie's child. Agnes and her faction are too afraid of Maddie to try anything with her, so I'm guessing they went for the weaker target." Sophie stated and Klaus and Maddie grinned at each other as the werewolf's eyes widened and he gulped.

"I'm not sure about you, young witch but I'm growing fonder of these children by the second." Klaus mused and Maddie laughed as she took a sip of her drink. "Sophie, look, I promised Elijah that I would protect the Mikaelson miracle baby whilst he tries to win your witch, Davina's loyalty. Why don't you tell us just how extreme this faction is?" Rebekah questioned and Maddie looked to Sophie with a raised eyebrow. Isaac found himself confused, having no idea who Davina was.

"Elijah's talking to Davina?" Sophie questioned and the two immortal females furrowed their eyebrows but the blonde answered anyway. "Yeah, as we speak, I imagine." Rebekah stated and Maddie hummed as Isaac raised his hand as if to ask a question. "I'm sorry, who's Davina?" Isaac questioned and Maddie laughed.

"She's a very powerful witch who's working for Marcel. We have mixed feelings about Marcel, but basically we're at war with him and he doesn't even know it." Maddie stated and Isaac nodded with wide eyes. New Orleans seemed to be more exciting and problematic than Isaac had originally thought.

"I imagine Davina would have have...plenty to say about that crowd." Sophie stated vaguely, bringing the conversation back and Maddie gave the witch a look as as she swallowed the spoonful of icecream she had just put in her mouth. "Well, do tell. And don't be shy on detail. You're not here to give us vague statements, you're here to give us answers." Maddie reminded and the witch sighed as Isaac snickered once again.

"I...wasn't always an advocate for the witches. My sister was devoted like our parents and our upbringing was very strict, which drove me nuts. The minute I turned twenty one, I left the Quarter to travel...and play. But I wanted to become a chef, so I came back to Rousseau's." Sophie stated and Maddie sighed, sitting back. It was a good thing she grabbed food, she thought. This was probably going to take a while.

Sophie explained how she was 
partying the night she got back and how her sister came in to welcome her home...and to also tell her about how the witches were moving forward with the Harvest.

"What the bloody hell is a Harvest?" Rebekah questioned and  Isaac nodded. "I was wondering about that too..." Isaac trailed off and Maddie sighed. "All covens have different rituals in order to maintain and restore power. The Gemini coven has the Merge in order to decide who their next leader is. The Vaet Mae coven did a Celtic Knot in order to maintain their power." Maddie states before leaning back in her chair.

"Vaet Mae...that was where Jennifer got the human sacrifices from, wasn't it?" Isaac questioned and Maddie nodded with a proud smile. "Yes, Miss Blake was performing the Celtic Knot. The New Orleans coven does The Harvest. The Harvest is performed every three centuries so that the bond to their ancestral magic is restored. They... appease...their ancestors and they restore their magic." Maddie explained and Sophie nodded.

"Why haven't I heard of this?" Klaus questioned and Maddie turned to Sophie with a raised eyebrow, as if to tell the young witch it was all on her now. "Because the Harvest always seemed like a myth. A story, passed down through generations like Noah's Ark or the Buddha walking on water. The kind some people take literally and others don't." Sophie stated and Maddie sighed.

Sophie then explained how she was one of the people who didn't have faith. And how she interrupted the choosing. "They had the girls of our community preparing for months. Four would be choosen for the Harvest. They said that it was an honor, that they were special." Sophie stated and Isaac's eyebrows furrowed.
