Bella POV
I woke up to Gabriel side of the bed empty, but I paid it no mind maybe he's helping everyone else get ready for the meeting later I get up to take a shower brush my teeth and by the time I left out of my bathroom I see Eva steaming out an all-black outfit for me to wear for the meeting
"Good morning boss everything you asked for is in your office and since I know you won't be leaving your office any time soon all your meals will be coming to your office if you need anything else I'll be briefing the extra men and making sure the room is set up right"
She was out the door before I could respond or ask a question but I guess her head is in the game so I can't complain I quickly get dressed and head down to my office
I walk in my office and im surprised to see that it doesn't look neglected
I sit down at my desk and let work consume me
Time jump four hours later Bella POV
I am now all caught up on my work I have yet to see Gabriel but he may be with everyone else
Eva was true to her word food has been coming in my office, consistently not that I'm complaining though
I look at the clock and see it's only 11:45 am I now open the file from Eva about everything that has happened in the Mafia world
Everything I was reading seemed normal until I saw my father's Ex best friend is dead I never knew why they fell out but everyone had to cut all ties
I wonder is this why they called this meeting
A knock at the door pulled me out thoughts
"Come in"
Eva walked in quickly "Bella word got out that you were meeting with the snakes and the devils now every Mafia in Chicago wants to meet with you today"
"Well triple security tell them all to come it's going to be tight we will make it work don't worry about it we have the advantage with the only ones with guns"
She nodded her head and was about to leave "Eva where is Gabriel?" she looked like she had seen a ghost "I'm not sure last time I saw him he was with max" she said avoiding eye contact
"Ughh ok thanks I guess why are you being so weird"
"I'm not I have to go" was all she said before leaving
"Fine I'll just call him myself"
Phone Conversation Bella and Gabriel
G: hey baby
B: hey where are you
G: I'm out right now but I'll be home before, the meeting don't you worry about anything I have to go I Love You bye
Why is those two acting so weird

Time jump 3:00 Bella POV
after both Eva and Gabriel, both went all weird on me I started doing more work and now there is a knock at the door yet again
"Come in" this time it was my mother and the twins
"Hey baby girl"
"Hey mom"
"Hey munchkin," the twins said in unison
"Hey guys what's up"
"We just wanted to tell you congratulations and to expect the unexpected and that everyone is here," my mom said and with that, they left
What the fuck is going one I'm starting to get annoyed and with still no sign of Gabriel I get up and walk to where every Mafia in Chicago is presently waiting for me l walk in the room and everyone stands and some make a way for me  to get the makeshift stage and this man I never have seen before is on the mic saying "let's welcome in the new Godfather well, in this case, GodMother Isabella De Luca"
Did he just say GodMother I'm now in charge of every Mafia in the city this is insane
I finally made it to the mic I held my hand up and the cheering died down I could get used to this
Now I all see why you wanted to me with me to be in my good graces you all are on good terms with me as of now but look both ways before crossing me cause I won't hesitate to end your life now I know its custom for the old Godfather..... Then it me Salvatore my father Ex-Best friend was the Godfather as if one of his men read my thoughts  he said "he left things for you to read at a later time he sat up a party for you in his mansion that now belongs to you"
