September air hitting our numb faces
Arms wrapped around your body
Leaving no blank spaces
Warm breaths on the back of your neck
Eyes squinting open
Looking ahead for what's nextCold air now embracing my body
As I let go from your hold and warmth
Flushed faces now an inch apart
As I leave your red-tinted cheeks with a
Good night kiss and my fluttering heart-k.l.p
