I stopped hoping
I stopped praying
To see you again
On my doorstepYet you surprised me
Caught me completely off guard
When I see you at the front door
Wearing your familiar smileYou kept your promise
I thought you wouldn't
You made me believe in you
Even more each passing dayFound ourselves on the beach
Both sitting on the edge
Staring at the waves crashing to shore
Gazing at the starlit night skyWe laid on our tent waiting for the moon
But we only saw lightning, fireflies too
Then we found ourselves going back
Walking on the winding road to your cribStill we welcomed morning with a smile
Laying on the bed letting out a deep sigh
I tilted my head, glanced at your direction
Smiling on our growing deep connection-k.l.p

Thoughts of a Mad Person
PoetryCollection of poems by an old lost soul. Let's keep these thoughts between you and I. Throw the judgements through the window. And embrace each other's vulnerability. It's my void of fantasy to escape the harsh reality.
