obviously I was not prepared
we embraced one another
i missed us being together
i find it funny and surprising
how you haven't changed a bit
we talked like we do it everyday
we laughed on our failed jokes
we sang our hearts together
for me it was better than okay
it's like no years have passed
when you meet an old friend
time seems to have gone so fast
yet we're still together in the end
you'll forever be here in my heart
