Do you ever just wanna
get up from bed
and go for a ride
past midnight
with no particular destination
in mind?
Blasting your speakers
while the street lights flicker
the roads seemingly
at peace and deserted.
While catching a few tired eyes
craving for sleep
while some are dilated
and driven by the desire
for making it a wild night
Suddenly you pass by a store
find yourself seeking comfort
hidden in a small tub
of cold sweet delight
as you pick
your favorite flavor.
Heading out to a park
while lying your back
in a damp grass
just gazing into the huge
blanket of darkness
while balls of light
peaking through tiny holes
as they twinkle
to the cold night
a breeze of air hugs your body
while you lost yourself
in solitude
as you find solace.
