I glanced at my side and you're there
It feels good knowing your near
We both walk the path of life in harmony
Now I look back, it's just a sad memoryTogether we took our steps one at a time
As I held your hand I thought was mine
Together we laugh and sometimes cry
Now I'm all out of words just to rhymeRemember all the adventures we planned
Dreams that we're written on the sand
Yet we forgot about the raging waves
That washed all our plans awayI glanced at my side but you weren't there
I looked at my back but you're nowhere
Then I looked forward, you were walking
Your familiar back was slowing fadingI started to run and tried to catch up
You're damn fast, why won't you wait up?
I didn't saw it then, just until now
There was someone holding your handSuddenly I stopped, frozen at my feet
Maybe it's destiny, trying to remind me
We changed, weren't the same anymore
And now I see you, already moving on-k.l.p

Thoughts of a Mad Person
PoetryCollection of poems by an old lost soul. Let's keep these thoughts between you and I. Throw the judgements through the window. And embrace each other's vulnerability. It's my void of fantasy to escape the harsh reality.
