SCARLET'S POV
the livestream scene

Well, the news about Alex and I never died. Alex had panicked for a couple of days before finally calming down. Then, he decided to get the brilliant idea of us streaming together but "casually" so the fans at least knew about me. He had said we weren't going to bring up the kiss or anything which was a stupid idea but whatever.

I was at home while Alex was in his own home. He had started his stream.

"How are we all doing today, gamers?!" Alex screamed into the mic as I winced.

"I'm joined by my friend, Scarlet in this stream! Scar say hi to the habibis," he told me.

I waved to the camera as I smiled, "hi, habibis!!"

My face cam was currently on the stream right below Alex's face so that the fans could see the both of us.

Obviously, the comments were going on and on about the kiss but we both had just ignored it.

"What are we even playing," I groaned.

Alex laughed, "honestly, I don't even know. I never planned this far ahead. Chat give us something to do!"

"Should we actually just play Roblox?" Alex suggested as I saw him raise his eyebrows.

I giggled, "alright."

I opened the game as Alex started to thank the donators and subscribers. Man, he sure got a lot of money. I started to consider dropping out of school to become a Twitch streamer.

"What's your username, bitch," I asked Alex.

"HEY! That isn't very nice," Alex gasped as I just rolled my eyes.

"Quackity this little kid is asking me to be his mom, what the hell do I say," I panicked.

Alex laughed, "say yes, you freak!"

"yas" I typed as I saw them jump around.

"Man, this kid's fucking annoying," I said.

"You are a terrible mother!" Alex yelled at me as his character walked up behind me, "wow he's ugly."

I laughed, "and you're a terrible father!"

"Aww are we married? Uwu!!!" Alex cooed.

I groaned as I rested my head in my hand, "I'm filing for a divorce."

"That isn't very epic gamer of you!"

"Yeah, me killing you in this game won't be epic gamer either but I'm still gonna do it."

"Alright, we've been playing Roblox for an hour already and I'm bored," Alex sighed, putting on his dumb sunglasses, "should we end the stream or just do something else?"

I bit my lip, "let's just answer questions or some shit," I shrugged.

Alex hesitantly answered , "uh—okay."

I knew why he was so frazzled. Obviously, I was too but we couldn't just leave everyone in the dark.

"Tiger's good! He's a sleepy kitten right now so I can't show him on stream, but he's gotten bigger since the last time you guys have seen him and it makes me sad," Alex frowned.

"Tiger's not even a kitten anymore. They grow up so fast," I fake cried as if he was my child.

Alex laughed, "you treat Tiger better than your Roblox child."

"Cause one of them poops and pees all over the house and won't stop fucking running around....while the other's a cat," I joked in a serious tone as Alex just bursted out laughing.

"That was epic," he said through his laughter.

I stared at his face on the video call while he laughed. He was the prettiest boy ever.

"Man, what the hell is the chat going on about now," Alex lowly said.

I froze, "hm...d-dunno."

I noticed Alex read a bit of the chat as he just gave me a knowing look through the webcam. I bit my lip and hid my blush.

We then started to talk about random shit like VidCon coming up and earthquakes until Alex finally decided to end the stream.

"Why can't you go to VidCon, hermosa," Alex frowned at me while we were talking through video chat.

I sighed, "I can't afford it, Alex. Not only is VidCon itself expensive, but then there's hotel fees and flight fees too."

"I can pay for you!" He immediately said.

"Alex, you and I both know you won't be able to pay for both mine AND your expenses," I said, twirling a piece of yarn through my fingers.

Alex sighed, "yeah, I know..."

"It's fine though! You'll get to meet all of your friends and have such a good time. You won't even notice I'm gone!" I tried cheering him up as he still remained sad.

"But I will notice, mi cielito."

"And I'll miss you too, Alexis. But it's okay. We can text and video chat. You'll be fine without me," I told him, staring into his hurt eyes.

He gave me a small smile, "yeah, you're right. Sorry I'm being overdramatic, but I just care for you a lot."

My cheeks flushed as I looked down from the webcam. Man, this boy has me so whipped.
