The Exchange (Larry Stylinson & Niam Horayne)

First Day Blues..

Harry POV

Ugg school again, It’s the first day back from the holidays and I am really not feeling it. “Harry get your ass out of bed and ready for school” “Fine MUM” I growled gosh Anne can be so ugg. I decide after an extra 15 minutes lying in bed dreading school I get up and put on the uniform. I head downstairs and chuck down the toast mum made for me. “Cheers” I grab my bag “Have a good day” I grunt and make my way out the door. “Harry!” Liam is waiting for me at the gate.

“Ready for school?” I shake my head “Are you serious, How are you Mr cheerful on a Monday first day back of Term 1. You are nuts” He chuckles “I am not, I’m just looking forward to a focused year” I shake my head, yeah he is definitely nuts. “Yo, Bradford Bad Boy!” Li and I run to catch up to Zayn. “Ugg Morning guys” he looks like he has only just got out of bed. “Zayn not looking your best this morning”

“Do I look like I care it’s the first day of term” Zayn snarks back..

We all carry on the walk to school. Liam decides to break the silence, “Did either of you sign up for having exchanges this year?” I nodded “Yes mum signed me up, I had no say in the matter what so ever” Zayn shook his head “Nah I can’t be fucked with that stuff, Sorry mind the language but I mean seriously” “Did you Li?” I asked Liam but he is such a goody good he probably did “Yeah course I did, you wouldn’t even have to ask” I chuckled “I know but this is one awkward walk to school”

We headed into the classroom block “Man, I am soo not bothered” I grunted as walking down the halls. “Come on boys, lighten up” I looked at Zayn and we both did the crazy hand movement. “Mate you’re as light as a feather” we all laughed and diverted into our first class of the day English Woohoo! Not.. I grabbed a seat at the back in the desks next to Liam and Zayn. I was zoning out already and the class hasn’t even started yet.

Louis POV

“Bye mum! Have a great 6 months without me” I was crying as I hugged mum and the girls Fizzy,Lottie,Pheobe and Daisy “Bye Girls, Text,ring,email me whatever ok!” everyone was crying. Mum helped me grab my suitcases and head out towards the shuttle with the other students from my school heading on the exchange along with my best friend Niall. I brushed the tears out of my face and waved as the shuttle drove away from my house. “it’s alright Lou, We are hopefully going to get awesome families to stay with” I nodded “I’m going to miss you though Nialler! You walk me to school every day and now I will only see you at school” He gave me a hug “It’ll be right we will get awesome families”

I nodded and we shared my Ipod as we headed off on the long 5 hour shuttle ride. A/N I know it only takes like 2 hours from Doncaster to Cheshire but I had to make it a little longer as it is an exchange :D We stopped off at a gas station “I’m hungry come on Lou come with me to get food” all the boys got out and headed into the gas station. I am pretty sure Niall bought one of everything “Jesus Niall is all that food really necessary?”

“Of course we have like 3 and a half hours to go and I don’t want to get hungry” Niall replied poking his tongue out.

“Nialler you are always hungry” We headed back into the van Niall with 3 bags of food just for the journey.

 I grabbed out my pillow and decided to have a sleep on Niallers shoulder. Until about 15 minutes later I was awoken by food falling on my face. “NIALL!” He giggled “Sorry Lou” I rested back on his shoulder. There was around 9 other boys on the exchange which included Austin,Jimmy,Sebastian,Luke,Kevin,Logan,Blake,Max and Caleb they were all good boys, Secretly I am pretty sure the school picked out the nice boys and also the brainy ones I mean aside from me and Niall being probably the dumbest here.

Liam POV

I am undeniably quite excited for the exchange I hope I get a really cool boy. I have always wanted another brother the same age as me and I kinda get one for 6 months. It will be upsetting if I get someone who is bossy and a little up themselves I don’t think that will go down well with my parents and I but who know’s they arrive this afternoon and I am pretty much bussing. “Harry are you excited for the exchange” I started bouncing around “Do I look excited to you?” I laughed “Well underneath that frown and annoyed look I reckon you are buzzing in the inside” I laugh “No Liam I am not Buzzing” I think Zayn is having a bad day he looks as depressed as I don’t know a lobster?

“Zayn I yell bouncing down the hallway”

“Li if you are going to carry on being Mr Cheerful I think I may just have to go hide in a dark room”

“Oh come on Zayn” I grab his hand and start running to Harry. I feel like I am dragging a stack of bricks “Run Zaynie Run” He just moans and picks up a painful jog. “That’s better” I smile and lead the boys to lunch in the caf. We sit at the normal table with our lunch and Mrs Manfrey approaches us. “Hi Boys sorry to interrupt but I need to see you Liam and Harry about your exchanges in my office after lunch?”

“Sure thing we will be there” I beam.

“Liam stop being all happy and cheerful” Zayn pulls his sunnys up onto his head “You are such a buzz kill” I grin just to annoy them more. “See you in History Zayn” I grab Harry’s hand as we head to Mrs Manfrey’s office. I knock on the door “Is that you Liam?”

“Yes” we head in and sit on the chairs in her office. “Hi Boys, Now about the exchange as you know they will be arriving tonight are you both still alright with the exchange?” We both nod “That’s great well I can’t really tell you much about the boys but Liam you have a boy named Niall Horan and Harry your exchange is Louis Tomlinson, I have heard they are both lovely boys and they are very close If I am correct they are best friends so that’s why we put them between you to as you too are close so they will get to see each other lots and not feel separated from everything.”

“Does that sound alright to you boys”

“Sounds great” I have a wide grin “Someone is excited Liam” I nod “Yes I am actually I have always wanted a brother around my age and this is as close as it will get” she smiles at me “What about you Harry?” He looks un easy “Yeah I guess, Im not very excited but I’m not exactly feeling the first day back if you know what I mean” She nodded “I understand but I can tell you one thing about Louis Tomlinson, the coordinator from Hall Cross told me he is a very Funny and Light hearted boy” He laughed “Great! Another Liam but funnier” I laughed “Yay there will be too of me to make sure you are always in a good mood”

“You are dismissed boys and have fun please report to me tomorrow about the first night and bring them here first thing and we will sort out classes and that sort of thing.” We both make our way to History.
