When, he said that I was completely touched by what he said. And it's true people in our school can't see people for who there really are. I said with a shy smile and a small voice

"Thank you so much, Dexter! That was truly some good wise words!"

He smiled at that and said with a thoughtfulness in his voice

"Your welcome! Anything to help ya, Gwen! So, you ready to go in and face your parents?"

Hell no! I really don't want to go in even if my life depended on it! Fuck it!

I said with a fake grin "Sure, I'm ready now!"

He smiled and put his car in parked and he grabbed my stuff while, I got the bags. We got out and he shut the door. We walked to my porch that was fulled with plants and chairs! I swelled again to clam my nerves but, it's not working. Before, I can even say anything or do anything the front door opened to see my Dad with a looks that says your so died now! He glared at me and said "Where we're you, Gwen?"

I answered and a whisper..Just to have my chin roughly pulled up so he can see and hear me speak. He said alittle more pissed off

"Where we're you?"

I said while, just staring at him dull and alittle louder and clearly

"I was at the mall working at my job, Dad!"

He said while, looking at me then glaring really hard at Dexter

"And who is he and why is he at my door step?"

I said loudly

"He was going me a ride to the mall and back! He's just a friend!"

My Dad don't believe me and said while, letting go of my chin rudely

"Gwen, go in the house. We have to have a talk!"

I stand-ed there alittle longer and he grabbed my arm and pushed me in the house. He kicked my stuff in and shut the door behind him. I was scaried not for myself but, For Dexter as well. I quickly thrown my stuff in the closet and looked out the window just to see him driving away. I sighed but, backed away from the window. I hurried and quickly went to the living room and sat on the couch with my brother beside me. I guess he was getting yelled at by dad too. Whenever one of us gets in trouble we are both in trouble together as well!

I heard Dad slammed the front door and I can heard his heavy foot steps walking to the living room. He glared at us and walked to his little thorn chair. He said while, leaning forward in his sit

"So, you got in trouble Gwen and for what? I would like to hear it from your mouth!"

I said while, looking at him with dull written all over my face

"I got into a fight today. But, it was only for self defense! It was 2 on 1!"

He said with a hard look to him

"Who won your little cat fight?"

I looked at him and said straight out

"I did! I gave the girl who started it a black eye and the girls friend a broken nose! I really don't mean it! They just started it first so I finished it!"

My dad said with a chuckle "You won! Come on, now tell me the truth Gwen! Your just digging yourself a hole in your grave, Missy!"

I swelled and said while, looking afriad at him "I'm not lieing, Dad! Just ask someone who seen it!"

He turned to my brother, Kevin and said with a hard voice that's solid as a rock

"Did you seen your sister fight, Kevin?"

Kevin violently shook his head and said "No, but I heard about it!"

My dad said while, leaning back in his sit and clearly glaring at me that says -your a disgraceful child-, he said in disgusted in his voice

"Gwen, go to your room your grounded until, I say so!"

With that, me and Kevin both got up and went into our rooms. I heard Kevin whispered loud enough for me to hear "I seen the fight and I have to say...I'm proud! You women handed their fake asses to them!" I smiled at Kevin and said in a mere whispered good enough for him to hear "Thank you for being my brother and Sorry I got you in trouble, Kev!" He smiled at me and hugged me real quick and said "No problem! We'll talk tomorrow if were still alive!"

I wanted to giggle but, I just heard my Dad quickly walking upstairs. That is our time to flee to our rooms and lock the doors! My dad can be scary and I mean really scary but, I hope to Gawd that shows how much he cares for us in his own weird way! He wasn't like this all the time. He was really caring at one point in his life. His like this because, of my mom! She did something that I still can't believe her for doing that. She cheat on Dad with his best friend in our own house in the master bedroom. I thought it was Dad and Mom just having 'adult things' not my Mom and some-guy that had to be my dad's best Buddie! I have to say that's fucked up! Really why cheat on him and when, your kids are home! That's just low and screaming to be caught! I heard something breaking and heard screaming like the girl I am! I stayed in room until, the whole thing was over. That was the last day I ever seen my Dad ever smiled again. And it was because, of her!

I sighed while, leaning against my door. Thinking of anything but, what situation that's not at this moment. I sighed and put my chair against the door just in case. Then, I walked to my bed. I laid on my bed on my tummy grabbing the closet pillow on my bed and tugged it under my head. I was thinking about how cruel life can be to those who are nice? With, out noticing that's how I fell asleep. Dreaming of happy thoughts that randomly popped into my head! The main on I'm focus on is my secret admirer! Hoping it's true. Maybe, my life would be easy with no job and hanging out with friends...Maybe, even a boyfriend too!!
