Meeting The Celebrity

Your p.o.v.
Its been a couple of days since I've graduated, and I haven't found a job yet. Which I'm really nervous about. But then I got a text from Coach Brown, telling me I might be hired to take care of a celebrity. Which I'm really anxious about it. He said to be ready by 4 so I would be early. I quickly called my mother and told her the good news. I asked if she could watch Mateo while I go meet the celebrity. Sadly she couldn't watch him so I texted Alex.

I wish I could, but Amanda hates it when Mateo is around. Plus I'm trying to smash today. Can't your mom?

She's working out of town and won't be back until eight. Are you with her right now?

Yes, she'll be gone at 6. If you still need me I'll watch him then.

Shit, Alex can't watch Mateo and neither can my mom. I asked Alex parents. They couldn't either. I called Coach Brown and told him I couldn't since I had no one to take care of Mateo. He said I could bring him and have one of the secretary's to watch him while I meet the celebrity.

Time passed really fast, it was nearly four o'clock. I grabbed Mateo and his bag and headed to the truck. It took us about ten minutes to get to our destination.

While I was getting Mateo off, I realized that I had forgotten his bottle. Hopefully he doesn't cry's and throws a fit.

"Good afternoon ms (y/l/n)!! Mr. Brown is at his office waiting for you"
"Thank you Linda, and um.. who would be watching Mateo while I'm gone?!" I asked nervously.
"Umm... Susan just left for her lunch break, and she was supposed to take care of him.. since she's gone, if you want, I could take care of him" she said with a smile, I nodded and handed Mateo over and gave her his bag.
Once I said bye to Mateo I headed to Mr. Brown office. I knocked and waited for him to say 'come in'

"Good afternoon ms (y/l/n), are you excited to meet the celebrity?"
"Actually, im very nervous. What if something goes wrong?.." I mumble while playing with my fingers
"(y/n) look, you'll do amazing. You've been though so much, I know for sure they will assign you.. now get ready, she's about to be here" he said while smiling.

I looked down and imagine the worst that could happen. What if I'm not the best or if I embarrass myself and she goes and tells her famous friends and then I won't have a jo-

I was interrupt by a soft knock. I looked at Coach Brown and panic.

"(y/n) you'll do fine.." he said with a calming voice.
"Come in" I said while shaking.

The door swung open and a very pretty girl walked in. She greeted us with a smile then sat down.

I couldn't stop looking at her. She was just so stunning. I really loved her outfit. That black dress really shows her curves. She caught me staring and just smiled. I couldn't help but smiled back.

After a while of showing what I can do, scooter, her manger pull Brown aside and talked to him. I just looked at Coach and prayed for the best.

"Hey.. so I guess you're my new bodyguard." The young lady said.
"Are you serious?" I said with a cheerful smile.
She laugh and said "yes, scooter just went to talk to Henry and give him the news. I'm Demi by the way."
"Thank you so much! You have no idea what this means to me.. nice to meet you Demi, I'm (y/n)" I said while shaking her hand.

After that we went inside Henry's office to sign the papers.. I then texted my family and friends and told them the good news.
After we signed the papers and all, scooter told me I would be working tomorrow morning. He said he'll text me the information later.

"Alright then, well I guess that's it. Again thank you Henry for helping me find Demi a new bodyguard... Demi are you ready to go?" Scooter said while getting up from his chair. Demi nodded and said bye. After they left I thanked Henry for everything and went to get my kid..

"How's my favorite little man" I said while tickling Mateo. He laughed and giggle. I thanked Linda for taking care of him and left the building.
