y/n pov,
"demi, are you okay?" i asked while we stopped at the red light.
"yes, i was just yawning" demi said quietly.
i nodded and proceeded to drive to my house. as i was driving i realized i have never heard of demi lovato before. i have no idea who or what she does, well except that she sings and needed a bodyguard.
"funny story actually, you're going to love this" i said jokingly "i never heard of you until you and scooter hired me.. is that bad?"
demi shockingly widen her eyes and smiled.
"omg don't tell me you're a secret serial killer, Mr Brown has mentioned cases like these but i thought he was joking" i said mumbling.
then i heard it again. her soft sweet laugh.
"gosh no!! i couldn't hurt a spider even if i wanted to" demi said while giggling
i let out a small laughed then quickly shut up. i didn't wanted her to hear how ugly my laugh sounds.
a couple minutes past and we arrived to my place. before we headed inside i realized that mom and mateo are inside, and if mateo sees me right now he will cry bloody murder once i leave. he might be six months old, but boy, he's good at gaslighting the hell out of me like his father did.
"wait! uhm, we can't go inside.. i'm so sorry demi" i yelled while grabbing her by her hand.
once we made eye contact i explained my situation.
single mother, barely any help from the baby daddy, and need help with her child.
i felt embarrassed telling someone who's heels cost more than my rental.
demi nodded and proceeded to say "hey, don't worry! i definitely understand. i don't mind hanging with you and your child and your mother. maybe we could even give your mom a break and go grab some ice cream with your baby?"
"actually, demi, that sounds amazing! but what about the meeting with scooter? mateo won't be a big fan once i leave him again around 5" i said while looking at my boots.
"girl, the meeting was just about asking you if you would be able to come live with me at my apartment for awhile. i can just tell scooter i explain you the problem. so you don't have to leave"
what does she mean to live with her? what problem are they talking about? is demi lovato in danger or is she really a serial killer?
