Chapter two,
Demi's p.o.v.
"Wait.. why does max need to be working for that new singer? Can't she get someone else? Max has been working with me for years, why do I have to get a new bodyguard?!" — I was so confused with all of this. My manager, Scooter ask for a meeting. Me and my whole team headed to his office. We sat there, silence, staring at each other until Scooter walked in with this random girl.
"Hello!" Scooter said with a cheerful smile. I swear, he's always in a happy mood.
"So I called y'all in because we need Max to bodyguard one of my new clients. Her name is Grace Faith. She's new to the business and I would love to have the best bodyguard to take care of her for personal reasons, and I thought to myself. Who in the world would fit perfectly for this job, then it hit me! Max! He's the guy.."
everyone went dead silent, no one spoke until max said,
"Whoa! But what about Demi? She needs me"
"I know, and we are looking for a bodyguard. I went and talked to my good friend Henry Brown, and he has the perfect bodyguard for Demi. Her name is (y/n), I'm actually going to meet her today if you would like to come Demi" scooter said while sitting down.

"Demi, there's a reason why I picked max for this job. Please trust me with this.. now for your team, please take care of her until I find a new bodyguard.. dems, would you like to come with me and meet (y/n)?" Scooter said calmly. I nodded while rolling my eyes.. whoever is my new bodyguard, I'm going to give them attitude until scooter assigns max back to me. I don't care how amazing they are..
"Alright, Demi I'll text you what time.. well I guess that's it, thank you for coming!" He said with a smile.
I didn't even say bye to max, I just stormed out of scooter office and headed straight to the restroom. I just don't understand why she needs to have max as her bodyguard. Out of all the bodyguards, why my best friend? I'm so going to miss him.
Later on that day, Scooter texted me to be ready in hour so we can meet (y/n). I'm going to be the biggest bitch when I see her. Hopefully Scooter doesn't likes her..
