I cannot believe she said yes to being my Girlfriend she just made me the happiest person alive.
Though I need to do something before going on the date.
“Hey I’ll be back ok there something I need to do.” I told her
“Okay, Say to her for me.”
“Who?” I whispered
“Your mom, I’ll be waiting for you.”
I smiled about how she knew me I kissed her forehead and went to walking towards my home there was going to be a lot of explaining to do to my mom.
No matter how much I hated the fact that she went behind my back Caroline was still right I wasn’t her Father and she could date anyone she wants as long as he doesn’t hurt my mom I won’t have any trouble with her.
When I reached my house I took my keys and opened the door.
“Miles is that you?” I heard my mom’s voice come from the kitchen
“Yes mom.”
I walked towards the kitchen and found my mom baking which means she must have been worrying this whole time.
I walked towards her and hugged her probably crushing her with this hug.
“Miles I’m s…” I stopped her before she can say anything else
“No Mom I’m so sorry I really over reacted this is your life and he probably isn’t bad like William well probably no one is as bad as William but that’s beside the point Mom I’m really sorry I shouldn’t be holding you back and if he was best friends with dad he probably is a good guy and I won’t have a problem with him unless he hurts you.”
“I can never hurt your mother I love her I always have but you father got to her first and I could never get in between what they he had loved her as much as I did but he was my best friend and I just couldn’t stop him.” He said coming behind me from the bathroom
“And I’m glad I didn’t stop him he raised a good man” he finished
“I love you baby.” My mom said hugging me
“I love you more Mom and I’m not a baby anymore!” I said
“You will always be my baby.”
“Did you bake cookies?” I asked remembering saying all the baking she did
“Yes, why?”
“Can I take some I have a perfect idea for a first date of me and Caroline, but I’ll probably be needing help.”
I called Nathan and asked for his help and of course he said he would love to help, my mom and Brian got into helping as well.
