"Where is he?" Robin paced back and force in the middle of the living room.
"I called him over an hour ago, he should have been back by now."
"Fear not friend Robin, I am sure Beast Boy is safe and unharmed." Starfire said as she floated over to him.
She sat down on the couch while Robin continued to pace.
" Yea dude, Chill. He's probably getting pizza or something." Cyborg chimed in. "I wish I was getting pizza, or waffles... I love waffles"
Cyborg was busy searching through the refrigerator, looking for something to eat. "Raven you like waffles don't you?" He turned and said to her.
She peered over her book. "More than life it's self"

"I'm serious guys, Beast boy has never taken this long before. Something doesn't feel right." Robin laid his hands on the windows edge and peered out into Jump City. The sun was beginning to set. As the moon began to rise, he looked over at the crashing waves below them. He was responsible for his teammates, even if they are capable of handling themselves. If anything was to happen to any of them, he wouldn't be able to live with himself.
He glanced over at Starfire.
She was watching her favorite show "World of Fungus"
Robin found it interesting how she was drawn towards the strangest aspects of earth life. He watched as the reflection of a giant mushroom danced in the pupil of her eyes.
He loved those beautiful green eyes. He would often find himself getting lost in them, but because of his mask no one could ever tell & he intended to keep it that way. Slade may be gone for now, but until he knew for sure he wouldn't attempt to make a move on Star. It's not like he had to worry about any other guy hitting on Star. Everyone knew he liked her except the girl herself.

She was his EVERYTHING. He was determined to make her his girlfriend when the time was right.
He turned back around.
"Raven can you do anything to find where Beast Boy is?"
She lowered the book from her face.
"His communicator  is offline Robin. He doesn't want to be found, if something was wrong he would send an emergency alert symbol." Raven replied. She raised the book back up.
Robin turned to Cyborg who was currently making a BLT with scraps found in the fridge.
"Cy, could you over ride his offline signal and put the communicator back online."
Cy turned, sandwich in hand, "He's fine. Kid had a big day. How would you feel if the girl you loved came back from the dead and had no memories of you."
Raven winced at the word Love.
" She wasn't dead" Raven chimed in "She was encased in stone"
Cyborg shrugged his shoulders "Tomatoe-Tomato"
"Cyborg has a point dear Robin." The world of fungus was on a commercial break as she had over heard the conversation between the other titans. "Terra was special to him, he really had the feelings for her and he believed she had them back." Starfire looked down. Hers hands fidgeting in her lap. Talking about Terra made her not want to ever discuss "the feelings" she had for Robin. She was afraid he wouldn't feel the same way back. She didn't want to end up like Beast Boy.
Robin walked over to the windows over looking the city. Once again he scanned the city sky line, looking for any sight of the green boy he loved like a brother.
"Where ever he is, I hope he's okay..." Robin trailed off into thought.
Robin couldn't have been more wrong. Even though Beast Boy was physically fine, the poor boys heart was shattered. He felt as if someone had ripped his heart out of his chest and ran over it with a car.
Beast boy wandered the city streets alone. He looked up at the stars. His memories began to play out above him. He saw Terra the first time they met in the desert. He remembered the way she trapped that giant desert monster by using the earth to her advantage. She was powerful, but soon that power was used for evil. Slade took her in, fed her lies & she believed them.
He never understood how such a precious soul could be turned and used for such evil. He looked down at his feet. He didn't know what to do or where to go. He looked straight towards the sea & saw the Tower looming over the city. The moon rising over the top of it, reminding him of the night Terra and him snuck out to the carnival. That was the same night the Tower was attacked by Slade's army. He clenched his fist.
" I should've known, I was so stupid." BeastBoy said to himself. He relaxed his fist as a single tear rolled down his cheek. "Raven was right." He sighed.
Raven never liked Terra. Ever since she first met the team Raven was weary of her, Raven eventually granted Terra her trust just for Terra to bring them down. If there's one thing he knew about Raven it was you should never abuse her trust.
Beast boy took out his communicator from his belt. He flipped it open & switched the setting from offline to online.
"Cyborg, calling Cyborg, over"

*Back at the tower*

Everyone stopped when they heard the incoming call.

Cyborg lifted his arm where the communicator was built into.
"Cyborg here, what's up BB. Where are you."

"Downtown, can you pick me up from the Pizza Place in 10?"

"Sure thing B."

With that BeastBoy walked across the street to the pizza place to sit on a nearby bench. While he waited for Cyborg to come and pick him up he watched all the passerby's. They all looked so happy and deep down he wondered if he would ever be that happy again. Yes, he could have easily flew back to the tower but, he wanted someone to talk to. Someone who wouldn't yell at him for going off line. He needed his best friend. Even in times like these hero's need a shoulder to cry on.
