Athena

I got ready for the day and left school before Alex, making sure not to run into Ryder.

I know I said I was going to say sorry but at the moment I couldn't. I felt a little bad that I was mad in the first place so at the moment, I'm not ready to say sorry. Or even talk to him.

And I knew he wasn't going to speak to me first since he hadn't for the past few days.

I walked to school quite early and decided to go over to my locker. A lot of people stared at my face as it was still bright blue and purple. I also heard a load of whispering and as I always did, I blocked it out. I opened my locker and organised my books.

All of a sudden I feel arms around me and when I look behind I see Olivia grinning. "It looks the same as the day we were round" She tuts. "I know. It didn't go down much at all." I sighed and we both shook our heads.

"I'm glad Molly isn't here to bother us at lunch though" She grins and I agree. Arms wrap around Olivia's waist and Mason's head plops on her shoulder. "Welcome back Athena" He greets me. "Nice to see the two of you doing great as ever" I smile and he does too. "Off course we are. When have we ever argued?" He says.

We all hear a scoff and Michael walks up to us. "You guys don't stop" He states. "Literally never a day goes by when you guys haven't argued." He adds. I laugh "What did they argue about while I was gone?" I ask him with raised eyebrows "Nothin-" Olivia was about to say in their defence but Zane beat them to it "A piece of paper."

I look at them two dumbfounded and they look down. "He snatched it off me." She rolls her eyes. "Here we go again" Michael laughs. "I was meant to have it anyway. What's the big deal" He yells. "The deal is that you were rude while doing it." She screams.

"Chill out guys" I try to settle them down and luckily they do. That was quicker than I expected. "Sorry, Athena." Olivia hugs me, making me smile brightly.

"It's ok." I hug her back and we have a little hugging session when the bell suddenly goes off. We all go off to our classes, which I had with Olivia.

I was talking to her about how I planned to say sorry to Ryder. We were debating whether I should be a little casual or casual or very polite or fun bout it. We only discussed it for 2 minutes after we got distracted over chocolate. Can you blame us? We don't ever have serious conversations and when we do we get distracted very easily. I was surprised that one time we had a girl talk.

After a few classes break came around and somehow life didn't want me to apologise then. Olivia and I accidentally got into trouble while speaking about her chocolate and food. We only got a warning then but when we started stuffing it down our throats we got a break time detention.

Unlucky us.

After that, me and Olivia went straight to our next lessons but it was pretty awkward considering our old friends who kinda ditched us were in there. I missed the fun times we had with Evie, Charlotte and the other guys. But they don't compare to the times Olivia and I have spent with Ryder, Zane, Michael and Mason. We both found a guy we really like. Mason likes her back too.

As me and Olivia talk we can't help but notice Evie and Charlotte staring at us. Evie mouths "Sorry" And we both look at each other confused. Maybe she meant about the whole Molly thing and how we got into a fight. They are both Molly's friends after they stopped hanging with us.

I smile at them as if to say it's okay. But once again she mouths "Sorry" with a frown on her face. Why was she so apologetic, it wasn't like it was their fault at all.
