Chapter Ten : Confessional

What was that?

I started walking back to the restaurant.

He kissed me?

He likes me?

Do I like him?

I don't know.

I heard footsteps in front of me and saw dad, uncle yukio, and paku.

"Yuki are you alright?" dad said.

"I'm okay."

"Izumo shouldn't have snapped at you for no reason like that, I don't know what got into her! " paku said.

"After you ran out me and rin went to go see you, but when we went to paku and izumos table you weren't there. We were worried about you." uncle yukio said.

"Izumo went home after you ran out." paku said.

"We started searching everywhere for you!" dad said.

I smiled.

Izumo was wrong. People do want me here. Maybe she doesn't, but she's just one person. Why should I care if she doesn't like me or not?

I ran over to uncle yukio and dad and launched myself on top of them in a hug making us all fall down on the ground.

I'm not alone anymore.

We all got up and said goodbye to paku and went home.

When we got home I went straight to bed. Today had taken the life out of me.

I wonder... Will I see Renzo tomorrow?

Yuki shut up! He's just a boy!

A very hot boy...

Uggh... I'm thinking too much. It's making my head hurt!

"Hi." I heard a voice in my head.

I fell off my bed.

"Who is this!"

"My names kuro."

"And why are we speaking in my head?"

"I was bored."

"Can I see you?"

"Okay."

A small cat then came into my room and sat on my lap.

"Hi again. So are you a demon?" he said.

"Sort of. I'm half demon I think."

"Like rin and yukio?"

"Well rin's my dad so... "

"Your dad! "

I told him everything that had happened.

"Wow. " was all he said.

"That appears to be the initial reaction."

"Well you wanna go have some fun? "

"What kind of fun? "

"Just a little prank... " he said with an evil grin.

"Let's do it!" I said.

We made a plan to prank the person that needed to be pranked the most right now. Izumo.

Me and kuro then spied on izumo through her window waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

"You know kuro, this feels very stalkerish."

"It's making you feel better though."

"You're right. I'm so evil. "

"Come on, let's go. She's walking out on her balcony."

I got the rainbow sand and put it in large box and put it on top of the roof, positioning it to where when izumo walked out on the balcony it would crash on her. I also had a string attached to it so when I pulled it, it would fall.

"Okay, kuro. One, two, three..."

But I never got to pull the string.

"Who's there! " izumo shouted.

I fell down off the roof and landed on izumo on her balcony.

"Ow! " she screamed.

"Sorry!"

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Sightseeing?"

I got up off her and she stood up.

"I hate you!" she screamed at me.

"Why do you hate me!" I screamed back.

She froze.

"Tell me! What did I do? "

She didn't speak.

"Say something!"

She sat down.

"I hate you because you're proof of something I'll never have."

"What are you talking about?"

"You exist because rin choses shiemi over me! I'm in love with rin and you're proof he doesn't love me back!"

I didn't speak this time.

I mean what do you say to something like that?

After a second or so though, I found my words.

"That's your reason? It's not my fault who my parents are! Don't hate me as a person for something I had no choice in!"

She started to cry.

"I'm so sorry Yuki! I'm such a horrible person, those things I said-"

"Don't matter anymore."

Then I hugged her.

"I forgive you izumo. I can't be mad at anyone for too long. It ruins me. So, really I'm the selfish one. I only forgive people for myself."

"It may be selfish, but if you being selfish helps others, then screw it."

Then the rainbow colored sand came crashing down on our heads.

I freaking hate you karma.

We ran inside then brushing the sand off us and suprizingly izumo started laughing hysterically.

I started laughing then too.

At the end of our laughing fit, we laid on the floor clutching our stomachs in pain.

"I think I laughed too much. " I croaked out.

"Me too." she said all raspy.

I sat up and helped her up.

"Can you spend the night, Yuki?"

"Yeah, I can. "

She smirked.

"You're not all that bad. " she said.

We spent the rest of the night watching some extremely cheesy chick flick and laughing at it.

After getting to know izumo, I've relized she's not that bad of a person.

Pretty cool, actually.

After she had fallen asleep I snuck out of the dorm and went home.

After I had gotten in bed I saw kuro come into the room.

"So you and that izumo chick are good now, right?"

"I guess so."

"Does that mean we can't prank her anymore?"

I grinned. "Nope. "

He laughed and jumped up on the bed and snuggled up next to me and fell asleep.

I made three friends today.

Paku, Izumo, and Kuro.

Renzo, well, that might be something more...
