Loraes went back to Philippines unexpectedly, I didn't know that Kaito's kinda close to Jazarah. She was our classmate back in med school, she invited me and Suelly on her wedding but unfortunately... she ditched it and I don't know where my care went. All I care about is Loraes presence.
We're fucking breathing in the same air now! It feels crazy that even air can make me go nuts!
"Are you okay?" Suelly asked in a sweet voice.
It was weird, her sweet voice seems nothing to me. It's actually making me cringe because my ears were set for Loraes' sweet voice. Nababaliw na naman ako sa kakaisip na nasa iisang lugar kami at kayang-kaya ko siyang puntahan anumang oras.
I nodded, my eyes fixated on Loraes and Kaito. She was busy watching Kaito while making calls, my heart tightened up. Is she in love with him?
"I'm good."
Suelly also gazed at their side, her lips rose.
"Still not over yet? Nakabalik na pala siya... at may kasamang iba."
I clenched my jaw, dinukot ko ang susi ng sasakyan sa bulsa ko at bahagyang kumamot sa aking kilay. Nginisian ko siya at tipid na tinanguan.
"It will never get over, with or without someone else..." I said frigidly and opened my car's door. "Drive yourself home."
"W-What? Seriously?"
My lips cornered. "Do I look joking?"
She held my arm, my eyes went to Loraes from afar. Sumakay siya sa sasakyan ni Kaito.
"Wait, we arrived here together. Tayo dapat ang magkasabay umuwi."
My brow couldn't help to arch.
"Oh, I didn't know it was required to stick wit' you until home. Take a cab, I have some important things to do, Dra. Vargaz. And you are not on my schedule." I smirked curtly and slid inside my car to leave her.
I don't hate Suelly but she's getting clingy these past few weeks after hearing her confession and let her fear in silence. I'm not dense, I know that she's slowly losing her control around me. She likes me, that's not a problem but I don't want another issues with her. Nilalayuan ko siya, panay lang ang lapit niya. I'm actually used to it, many girls had tried it but no one could really melt me as how Loraes tamed me.
"What the fuck, man?" Horace exclaimed over the line, tinanggal ko ang suit at niluwagan ang necktie.
I went home for a cold shower because my heart is heating tearfully, her simple presence was fucking good at making me feel too bad and happy the same seconds. Kailangan ko rin makausap si Saint Ylarde. He didn't tell me about Loraes and Kaito's arrival! Nakakabisita nga siya kila Elos!
"What?" I dryly asked.
"Sovie is freaking here, man!" he hissed.
My knotted forehead slowly softened. "Where are you?" matigas kong tanong.
Hinagis ko ang suit at necktie sa sofa bago muling kinuha ang susi, lumabas ako ng unit habang kausap si Horace. Aalamin ko pa lang sana kung saan siya tutuloy ngayon, masuwerteng lakwatsero si Horace at nakita pa siya. He probably got laid this afternoon, wala naman siyang pinipiling oras sa paglandi. Nasaan kaya ang gago?
"We're on the same building, is this my destiny? We bumped into each other like ex couple. She's beautiful-"
Nagtagis ang bagang ko. "Your destiny is on my fist, just wait-"
His laugh cut me off.
"Woah! Woah! You're too harsh, grow your balls up. Pinakawalan mo tapos ngayon, bawal siya sa ibang lalaki? Anong tingin mo sa sarili mo, padlock?"
