Brace yourselves. This is quite a history, and I need to vent it out.

For a while last year (2018), I was encouraged by a friend to get into digital art, because I was "good" at it. I loved drawing since I was about three or four,  but I never really had my own drawing "style". When I started digital art, I sucked. Then after about three months, I got better.

Here is just a bit of art I made digitally (yes I just drew furries):

I drew this in windows paint... it's the first piece of furry art I'm actually slightly proud of. It's my OC Quarter Moon. pgfdkdjgp;vb I don't really draw furries anymore tho

This is a furry. uhh- what else can I say?

Ok, so after 10 fruitless months of drawing digitally and getting nowhere because I couldn't settle on one art style, I stopped.

Yeah, I just stopped drawing digitally. It wasn't sticking. I didn't like it.

Traditional (pencil :3) might be a little harder because you don't have layers, or stroke erasers, or blend brushes, but it's easier to draw normally, without a mouse. Is this even making sense?

Around the time I stopped digital art, I was getting really frustrated with myself, because I was trying to draw people, but I CAN'T DRAW PEOPLE. I REALLY CANNOT. I SUCK.

But..... prepare yourself for a miraculous moment....

By some STUPID AMAZING FLUKE, I poured my love for Fantastic Beasts into this one pencil drawing I never liked... and.....

also I think there's a bug on it lol

and I need to fix the collar and I can't draw hands to save my life but I'LL JUST SHUT UP NOW

From there, I was inspired :0 to take up drawing again, but not digitally. So I kept drawing in this little Hogwarts notebook that I carry around everywhere (How2BanIntrovert  and KawaiiGolem  have probably seen it) and unfortunately, I guess it was just a lucky fluke that made the first picture something I'm proud of, because all the Fantastic Beasts fanart I drew after that got progressively worse, until I was back where I started.

Here is a couple more pieces I drew recently after the first one (so not as bad as I draw now ;-; )

Ok, so you see what I mean with this one? The only thing I like is the Occamy (and the wings suck but I recently shaded them in so this is a little outdated but who cares) Newt's case is waaay too big, I killed the Niffler and the HANDS, there is NO ANATOMY WHATSOEVER, and I lost the realistic art style so Newt looks like a STUPID ROBLOX FIGURE FKL';JLNSFKNGL;DN;FK;SGHS;KDGJ

idk just leave some advice here --->

IN MY DEFENCE I drew this in the middle of band practice, so, naturally, it sucks.

I know I already put this in an authors note in Those Days, but it's the only other piece of fanart I'm comfortable sharing atm. I might add some in the future or something idk

I feel like his trench coat is too long in this one, and his suitcase is on an unrealistic angle TwT

I didn't draw his face or hands because that's how this picture is meant to look. OK I WAS LAZY AND SCARED OF STUFFING UP OK?!

Oh well. Let me know what you think about all six drawings. Which one's your favourite? Which one's your least favourite? Any advice? (please?)

Last piece of history I promise:

From about December last year to now, I'm really depressed, because I can't draw humans again. I still don't have a style. I just can't. Draw. Anything.

And it makes me really sad. The first picture was just luck and my determination to pour my infatuation somewhere. The rest where just hopeless attempts at trying to pick up drawing again, and like I said, they get progressively worse. I picked out the best ones to put here.

If anyone has some tips, PLEASE SHARE BECAUSE I AM A STUPID CHILD IN NEED OF HELP :''>

I might add another chapter just for humiliating fanart failures. Warning: it will be long.
