Chapter 19: Srsly, You're Annoying!
Kate's POV
I can hear voices, voices not so near, men's voices. My head hurts. And I know that my temperature's rising.
"Where am I? Okay, I see, I'm in my bed."- I'm monologuing when Damian enters my room.
Pinilit kong bumangon, there's a wet cloth in my forehead.
"Ey, easy there Kate. You slept for hours but don't worry I called James and it's all settled, you've been officially excused from your classes today. Kate, why didn't you call someone for help when you desperately needed it? Stop trying to be independent Kate! You've proven enough!"
Damian's angry I know. Even I, myself, I'm tired of being like this na sinasarili ko na lang lahat-lahat. Nakakasawa na rin. I miss my mom so badly. In the thought of my mom, hindi pa siya tumatawag sa akin, nakapagtataka.
"Paano niyo nalaman password ko dito?"
Nakakapagtataka, paano sila nakapasok eh wala akong malay kanina.
"Miss Agnes saw us. Buti at nakita niya tayo kundi lagot. The hospital is not that near dito and not to forget may mga accessories pa akong international artists na mga kasama and baka na-caught pa tayo sa traffic jam. Buti I always bring in my car an OB bag set. Your temperature has been soaring up Kate, it went as high as 39 degrees Celsius . You need to take lots of fluids. You should at least eat something before taking acetaminophen later. I have Tylenol."
Walang duda, anak nga ng mga hospital owners. Damian will be an effective heir. Para siyang isang licensed physician na kung umasta.
"Aye, aye captain!"
"Can you manage to walk 'till the kitchen?"
"Easy peasy, I think I can! Let's go."
There's the slightest sensation of dizziness pa rin pero hindi ko na lang ipinahalata.
Sa may kitchen, may dalawang nakatalikod na mga tao. They're wearing my aprons I guess? They're cooking. The aroma of whatever they're cooking is appealing huh!
Nakalimutan ko, nasa likod ko pala si Damian, buti nagsalita siya and I didn't anticipate what he just said, "Si Ken and Ulrich, they're cooking your foods because it's almost lunch time."
