Kate's POV

Si Damian, God, I really miss them, Damian, Ken, Ulrich and Page. It's been nine long years. Whatever! Iyong anaphy book ko kailangan ko pang basahin ang whole Chapter 9.

*sigh

Oh my! Gutom na talaga ako, ba't ba kase ang tipid kong mamili. Puro broccoli lang ang binibili ko. Bakit ba kase last na pala iyong kinain ko kaninang umaga? Hindi ko man lang napansin! I'm being so stupid.

I'm caught up in a deep contemplation about sa "action potential which causes muscle contraction" ng bilang nag-ring iyong doorbell ng room.

Pagtingin ko sa monitor, it's Damian with a lot of 'I-don't-know-stuffs'. I thought umuwi na 'tong taong 'to.

"I thought you've collapsed na Kayleena"- He smirked at me. Hindi ko pa pinapapasok eh pumasok na, presko si kuya ah! Ang kapal in fairness. Bakit Kayleena na ang tawag niya sa akin?

"Ang dami mo yatang binili ah", I said with a sarcastic tone.

"Coz I know you're too hungry and I am hungry as well so I went to buy OUR foods~"

I cut him out kase nga why the hell na nagsasalita siya sa English?

"Ey, I told you not to talk in English Damian"- I told him that with a stern tone.

"Kayleena, Kayleena, Kayleena Ayla Therene Eleanor Hughes! For my case, it's understandable because I just came home from Britain and your case my dear Kayleena is that it's been nine long years and you're still talking in English. Isn't that more indefensible?"- Lumapit siya sa akin. Nagsalita ulit siya sa tapat mismo ng tenga ko.

Nag-change siya ng tone from a playful tone to a serious one, "Don't run from the past dahil nandoon kami nina Page, nina Ken, nina Ulrich as well as Jaime. And can you still remember your maids back in London as well as Mr. Hanssen? I know that what your dad did to you and your mom was awful pero huwag mo naman kaming isali sa tinatakasan mo. Bilang kabayaran for leaving us without a notice, sasama ka sa akin this Saturday night."

I am crying na pala. What he did just tell me was the truth. It shook me up and made me regret all the things that I've done from running away. Unconsciously, I hug him with all my might and it happen that he hugs me back and pats my back, "Don't you dare cry again Kayleena. Don't be a cry-baby, it's shitty you know."

"Damian, I'm sorry. I was a kiddo back then and I didn't know how to cope up and so what I opted to do was to run away. And you know what? I'm better now. No one ever bothered me, until you came to the scene."
