//Third POV//
There she was, one of the two only humans in town.
Y/n L/n, Susie learned from the grape vine that was her name.
"Y/n.." The monster couldn't help but repeat her name.
She was new to town and today would be her first day of school.
As Susie finished up chewing a piece of chalk, she walked into Alphy's classroom, late as usual.
To Susie's surprise, Y/n was sitting right in front of her own seat, having a quiet conversation with Noelle.
Susie felt her face get warm as she stared the human.
She silently walked to her seat, and pretended to focus on the lesson.
Susie kept finding herself looking at that Y/n girl.
In an attempt to get her attention, Susie crumbled up a piece of notebook paper and tossed at the back of Y/n's head.
Y/n turned her head back, her eyes shimmering with curiosity.
"Hey. You're Y/n, right?"
"Yes. And you are..?"
"Susie. Just thought I'd introduce myself. I've trying to be a little..nicer to others lately, so I thought I'd practice on you," Susie made up a lie so that she could talk to Y/n.
"Ah, that's okay. I like your hair," She complemented Susie, catching her off guard.
"Nah mines trash. Yours is totally better but, uh thanks anyway."
Y/n giggled, "You're welcome."
- Later -
As Susie was leaving school, surprisingly not in detention, she felt a light tap on her shoulder.
"Who the hell- oh, hey Y/n."
"Hi! I was wondering if you wanted to maybe go to the diner," Y/n smiled, her hands behind her back, "My parents are at my grandmas so they won't be home until late tonight so I'm free."
"Well you could hang out with me," Susie shrugged, "Plus, food is great."
Susie mentally punched herself in the face for that stupid comment.
And so, they ate at the diner, chatting and Y/n laughing hysterically while Susie bench pressed the soda machine.
As they walked out, they started to make conversation, "Y/n, you're a good person, why do you want to hang out with me?"
"Well, I already had seen the bad girls vibes but it's the fact that you made the effort to talk to me. Only you and Noelle did that. I tried to talk to Berdly but that didn't go well."
"Well he's an idiot. If you want, I can beat his ass for ya," Susie, put her arms behind her head, "I'm putting a bad influence on ya..yeesh I'm sorry.
"I think you're amazing, Susie.."
"Wait, What?? No! I'm terrible! You're the one that's amazing!"
"Awww.." Y/n smiled, "We can both be amazing."
"Yeah! We're the most amazing people in this dumb town!" Susie punched the air.
Susie couldn't help but smile, Y/n's smile was too contagious.
"Thanks for throwing that paper ball at me," Y/n startled Susie by hugging her.
"Uhhh, Yeah. No problem."
(That was half assed as fuuuuck. I had to do it though since I fucking adore Susie)
