"Hello, I'm sorry to bother, Renjun really wanted to come here," said Taeyong who placed his hand on Renjun's shoulder protectively.

"I'm... I'm so happy to see you please sit down," grandma pointed at the armchairs.

"I'll make some tea," grandpa hurried out of the room when Renjun walked to the armchair then sank in it Taeyong took a wooden chair next to him.

"This is... I haven't expected you to come, really, the way Jae acted," his grandma lowered her head. "But I understand it, he has all the rights to hate us."

"Grandma he was always telling storied about how scary you are but you seem not," said Renjun when Taeyong giggled under his nose.

"I treated my Jae wrongly, I made a choice I'm regretting all my life, but it's way too late to change it," she was shivering looking at him.

"So why have you done it?" asked Renjun when Taeyong shook his head.

"Ah!" she let the air out. "I was shocked and mad, and... I had pictured his future the best possible I wasn't able to accept that his plan wasn't my plan that his choices weren't my choices, that he loved a man what in our society is such a hardship, such a burden," she sniffed.

"But daddy Tae loves Jae more than anyone and they are happy," said Renjun.

"Yes, I know I have seen it too late, after so many years of watching their relationship in the media I know it's this only one love, faith just played a big prank on them giving the two lovers meant to be male bodies."

"You still think it's not right?" asked Renjun.

"No I... I guess I'll never be able to fully accept, but the fact they managed to have you seemed like a miracle and... don't get me wrong I really wished to have grandchildren, Jae is my only son so it was giving me so much pain to know I can't be a part of your life, grandpa can't. While we waned to be like these old annoying grandparents who come with silly gifts to spoil you or take you on trips, or make delicious dinner for you, invite you over for holidays, burst to our neighbors how much our grandson has grow up, all this silly stuff," she laughed.

Renjun looked at Taeyong who was very serious.

"Tea?" he heard his grandpa coming in so he jumped up to help him.

"You don't have to," protested the man but in this moment Renjun saw the photos hanging next to the fireplace so he walked this way stopping to see Jae, yes little Jae, his chubby cheeks, a pink stripped sweater, Jae as a baby, Jae drawing , Jae smiling to the photographer, Jae smelling flowers.

"Jae was so cute," whispered Renjun pointing at the photos. "And so chubby," he giggled.

"Yuta was always calling him fat F in kindergarten, but I guess he meant it an a tender way," Taeyong blushed.

"Yuta in a tender way, don't be silly daddy," Renjun laughed.

"You're really similar to our Jae Renjun," muttered his grandma taking the same spot on the couch when his grandpa had placed the tea cups on the cafe table.

"Because it's faith," muttered Renjun turning to them. "Can I take photos of Jae's baby pictures and show Chenle, my best friend?"

"Sure, we can even show you the family album," his grandma smiled.

"Wow!" Renjun took his phone out making a few photos than sending them over to Chenle, writing - 'Look how cute Jae was.'

Taeyong's phone rang so he got up hurrying towards the hall becoming even more serious.

"Is Jae calling?" asked Renjun.

"Yes, I'll be right back," Taeyong walked out of the room then out of the house when Renjun sat back in the armchair. His grandfather came with a few photo albums then opened the first in front of him taking Taeyong's seat.

"You were really young here, sorry," muttered Renjun seeing a photo of his grandparents holding a baby Jae, he was so exited watching all the memories of Jae's childhood, Doyoung and Taeil were so funny when they were little, Yuta had a very cloudy face on the kindergarten photos, he was never smiling and Renjun took a few snaps to send them to Sicheng who will definitely be happy to see his boyfriend in the chicken phase.

Taeyong came back, he was worried even though he was smiling again when he saw Renjun asking questions about some shoots, but he just noticed it in his father's eyes.

"We have to be back home in an hour Jae's waiting with supper," said Taeyong.

"Oh, it will be such a short meeting," grandma became sad.

"Don't worry grandma, I'l come more," assured Renjun.

"I hope so," she smiled to him, their eyes met and he couldn't find anything bad in hers.

So they drank the rest of the tea when Renjun was asking questions about the teenage Jae, how he was, what his life looked like. He was very happy and very relaxed, so it brought some pain when half an hour later Taeyong got up thanking for the invitation.

"You can come too, please see that we mean no harm, we really care about Renjun," said grandma looking at Taeyong who nodded briefly.

"Bye grandma,"Renjun came to her to shake her hand then walked to his grandfather to shake his hand too. "I'll hope to see you soon," he waved.

They waved back when he followed Taeyong out of the house, both reaching the car quickly. Taeyong started the engine pulling out of the driveway.

"Daddy why are you mad, the visit was nice?" asked Renjun.
